This is a great shoe. It is very comfortable. I am having the squeaky shoe problem from the insert. If you remove the sole it does not squeak, but that very comfortable sole rubs up against the leather on the inside and squeaks up a storm! Hopefully this will go away.

My husband is a lawyer. These are the only shoes he wears to court, to hike in, to wear at the swimming pool. With the latter he thinks he may be making a fashion statement. Seriously, he loves these Rockports for pure comfort and style. They last a long time, too.
