I have purchased about 3-4 pair of Asics running sneakers from Zappos. I was satisfied with those purchases. The sneakers were well made and sturdy. However, I cannot say the same for Gel-Phoenix 3. They are not as sturdy and the materials used to make them seem to be of a lower quality.

I've been wearing Asics for a long time now and I think these are really great running shoes! They are comfy, but lacking a little in padding for the front part of the foot. I'm used to a little more cushion from Asics. But these are also the cutest running shoes I think I have ever owned so Im happy even if I end up having to buy inserts for them.

I have been running for about a year and have been doing research on running shoes. These seem to ace the test! They are breathable, "squishy", and have really great arch support. I would recommend these to a friend for sure!

Terribly disappointed in these - this is my 2nd pair of Asics and even though the last ones didn't last as long as I thought they should, I gave these a try and I think they've lasted 2 months. 6 miles tonight and I'm going to retire them - my legs and feet are so sore and they shouldn't be. No more Asics for me.

Asics not what it used to be -
I've been wearing Asics brand shoes for 4 years for running. The only pair of Asics that have less support and comfort than this pair is the Gel Strike, which was the worst shoe I ever tried, I sent that one back. The Gel Phoenix has very little more support than my worn out GT2130. (Which only lasted 200 miles, normally I get 300 miles out of a shoe dedicated only to running.) If I had realized that adidas Running Response Cushion was going work so well for me, and had not been desperate for a new shoe I would have sent them back with the gel strikes. They will work for a back up pair of shoes, but not for running. I'm not going to buy any more Asics brand shoes.

ASIC's Gel-Phoenix -
Love my Gel-Phoenix running shoes. I wear them for running and step aerobics. Comfortable with stability. They feel true to size. I order all my running shoes from Zappos because I wear a size 10.5 and all the retail stores don't carry my size. I am so thankful to Zappos; I finally have a great running shoe that fits!
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Other ASIC styles. These are the best for comfort!

 |  | I absolutely love, love, love Zappos! Your customer service is second to none, along with your selection of shoes. Where else can you order shoes on line at 11PM and have them delivered to your front door within 24-48 hrs? And then, if it doesn't work out or the shoes don't fit, you let me send them back free of charge! And I have 365 days to do that. I am and always will be a loyal Zappos fan and tell everyone I know.
