This shoe is a step up from my Hush Puppies, which suddenly looked plain. It's very comfortable at first wearing, put a little bounce in my step. I have narrow feet, but this fit fine. Waterproof, too, so no complaints here! And of course, Zappos service rocks!

I purchased these Rockports for a recent trip to Ireland. They were great - the sizing was just right and they were comfortable from the first wearing. I didn\'t even have to break them in. They were perfect in the rainy weather. I was afraid that the waterproofed leather would look funny, but it doesn\'t - it looks quite natural. I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought these in a slightly larger size and found them to be narrower in the toe than they look and like paper bags, without much shaping in the back. They look nicer than they fit.

I bought these on vacation when I needed comfortable walking shoes/boots and they fit the bill very well. If in doubt, order up a half-size (I\'m either a 7 1/2 or 8 and took an 8 in these) and they also run quite wide, especially in the heel. The elastic gores on the ankle mean no break-in time at the ankle, and the sole is slip-resistant, well-cushioned and springy. Recommended for weekend wear and casual vacations.
