This shoe was easy to get used to and has been really comfortable. I tend to ignore brand-name for running shoes, and I purchased it after choosing the same shoe in a specialty running store, ordering a 10.5 (the largest they carry at that store) and a few weeks later deciding I'd selected the wrong size for runs of eight miles or more. I ordered the size 11 from Zappos, it came the following day, and it is now my "go-to shoe" for mid-distance and longer training runs. It's not the lightest shoe I've ever worn, but it certainly not the heaviest. In silver and brown sugar, it's one of the prettiest and is very highly reflective when running in the dark. The shoe has worked well on a variety of surfaces, but the meshy top will not protect against wet grass or puddles. The design lets the foot breathe a lot, so it is great if you sweat a lot. It was a snap to get accustomed to, and I ran my (yet!) fastest 1/2 marathon in this pair just days after it arrived on my doorstep.This is a totally neutral shoe, so choose it if you tend to under-pronate, or if you have high, strong arches and do not want a supportive shoe. Other shoes I've worn have been the Saucony Trigon Ride and the Mizuno Wave Rider. The Brooks Glycerin 7 compares well with these, and I'll probably select it again. I'll be pressing my local running store to carry up to size 11 for us larger gals!

This shoe is my favorite for just plain day to day wear. I have bought many Glycerin over a number of years. One complaint: because of the design of the toe on the top of the shoe with its v-configuration, I get a hole right in the mesh before the decoration on every single pair before they otherwise are worn out. A half size larger is too big. It only occurs on the left shoe. Thanks for finally getting a Glycerin that is almost all white.

I live in SC and recently ordered a pair of Brooks Glycerin running shoes through Zappos. I have worn this style for many years, but they are hard to get locally. My order came amazingly fast! Zappos upgraded me to expedited delivery without extra cost. That was a terrific surprise. Great service!

If you are looking for super cushioning in a running shoe these are it! I have been wearing Brooks running shoes for about 5 years and occasionally I try another brand thinking I might be missing out on something. I always go back to the Glycerin line. They are for neutral runners with an average width foot.

Love it! I love these shoes! I am a new runner, and I purchased 11 different shoes from Zappos, all different brands. I have never owned a pair of Brooks before, but I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future! I have a neutral foot, and these are great for running or even just walking. I usually wear a size 9.5, sometimes a 10 in tennis shoes. I ordered a 10 in these and they fit great!

I supinate, have plantar fasciitis, and chronic shin splints. This shoe is like walking on a cloud. I went up 1/2 size, perfect fit. I used to wear Brooks Radius 6 which I liked better than Glycerin 6, but Glycerin 7 out shines them all. Thank you Zappos for making everything so easy!!!

I have problem feet - plantar fasciitis, falling aches, supinate. I am also walking around with a torn meniscus. These shoes are the best in cushioning! I did have to go up a 1/2 size. I can walk again with no pain! Yippee! Zappos is the best since I went through 16 pairs of shoes to find these! Thank Zappos for letting me do this in the comfort of my own home without schlepping around the mall in pain.

Love this shoe!!! I have suffered with plantar fasciitis for years and have spent a lot of $$ looking for a pair of shoes that will help the pain. Thank Goodness these are it!! These feel like you are floating on a pillow, what a relief. I will continue to buy these forever! The heel of the shoe cradles your heel and takes the pressure off the center point (pain point). The uppers breathe well and keep feet nice and cool. In fact I can feel the air on my toes when I walk. If you have foot pain I bet you'll love these too!!!!! Thank You Brooks!!!

The toe box is significantly smaller than the previous two models. I ordered the same size as the last two models, and my toe hit the end of the shoe when normally I have at least half an inch of extra space.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: If you like the previous 2 models, then I would not recommend this model.

Love my Brooks -
I have been running in Brooks now for almost two years. The Glycerin is for a neutral stride and has a good amount of cushion. They are durable and I can't see myself in another running shoe.

Better Than Asics Nimbus -
I've been an avid Asics Nimbus fan for years, but because of their new, curved lacing, I had to find another shoe. These Brooks Glycerin 7s are the best running shoes I've ever used. The structure is perfect for someone with a neutral gait who requires a lot of cushioning.

Amazing!!!
I run 50 mi. a week on forest service roads & this is a fantastic shoe. We most runners I have a problem w/ to toe box not being room and I am prone to blisters on my big toes BUT NOT W? THIS shoe! I bought 3 pair!

IT band help -
Great shoe for this middle-aged overweight nurse who's on her feet for 10+ hours/day. I have recurring IT band pain and so far this shoe has helped. I was actually able finish my shift without pain the first day I wore the shoes to work. The shoe will be too small for my thick Thorlos socks, but otherwise the fit is true-to-size.

 |  | Dear Zappos, Okay, help me understand something. I place an on-line order last evening at about 8:00. I screw up how to use my store credit and can’t figure out how to fix it. I resort to calling your toll free number to fix my stupid mistake and expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes. Wow is all I can say! A real live person answers the phone in two rings after I debated with myself whether or not to press the option for joke of the day. He corrects my problem and even makes the decision to not charge my credit card for the less than $2 difference between my store credit and the amount due for the running shoes I ordered. On top of this, the shoes were sitting on my doorstep tonight after I came home from work. I even wore them for my evening workout. How dare you do this in less than 20 hours after my mistake! You just set the customer service pole vault bar at 37 feet in my book! Terrific, terrific service. Thank you very much! I now consider myself a customer for life. You all will have to work very hard to make me buy a pair of shoes from another company. I’m new to Zappos and you can bet I will be looking to Zappos for other purchases! Many thanks... my next order will be tomorrow evening so I can surprise my wife with a new pair of Berks she wants, but actually needs... it isn’t always good to want things!
