I\'ve been wanting a pair of Dansko clogs for a long time and was very excited when Zappos started carrying the Pro Wide. I wear a 12W in women\'s and have a high instep. I couldn\'t get my foot in the shoe. It\'s not a fault of Dansko. It\'s the anatomy of my foot. These shoes come highly recommended. If you have a high instep, best to avoid them.

Perfect! Thank you Dansko for making the Wide Pro! I wear a size 10 US, but my foot is a little bit on the wide side. Most US 10s I buy I are regular width 10s, but there have been many times where I did not purchase a shoe because it fit a little too snug. This is my second pair of Danskos, my 1st pair, which have lasted approximately 3 or 4 years, were the 'Professional' size 43, regular width. They fit good, but were a little to long. I could never fit a 42, not because of length, but more so because of the arch in my foot made the top band on the shoe way too tight! I work 12 hour shifts in a hospital, and I swear by these shoes! Athletic shoes aren't supportive or protective enough, same with Crocs, great for home but not for work. I have yet to find a store that carries or has even heard of the Wide Pro clog. Zappos was courteous and prompt, great doing business with them. Now if I can just get Dansko to make the Wide Pro in more colors!

 | | I want you to know how pleased I am that my dad received his shoes so quickly! He got them today. I am amazed! He is a patient at the VA hospital in Denver. He is a WWll combat veteran who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. Recently, he was taken to the VA hospital because no one at his present home could care for him. He was sick, malnourished, and to add insult to injury, could not use his prosthetic leg because it caused a sore on his amputated stump. To shorten a long story, he had no shoes with him with which to begin learning to use his new prosthesis. I ordered them Saturday as soon as I hung up talking with him and he received them today. Now he can begin the long journey to regain his stride and health. He will be returning to the east coast of Virginia to be with family. My sincerest thanks for helping my dad recover and come home to me. Barbara I. | | ~ Barbara I., September 29 2009
