Not the most attractive shoe, but it does its job well! I purchased this shoe for an active vacation in Costa Rica. It was perfect for light hikes in and out of the water. While light weight the shoe felt solid and supportive unlike the "Light" version.

I love the original Techamphibians but decided to try these because I love the red color so much. I have to say these are so uncomfortable and really dug into the sides of my arches so they'll be going back. I've had 2 pairs of the Techamphibians and they are so comfortable but these are really bad for my feet. Zappos is the best though!

Great shoe... my second pair. I wear them all summer with or without socks depending on what I am doing. Sometimes I "convert" them to a slip-on by bending the back strap inward. Super comfortable, well built, sturdy shoe.

Boat Inspector Shoe -
I love the ventilation, keeps my feet cool in the hot weather. The DPR wanted us to have non marking soles because we have to board the boats to do inspections. I like that the back loosens up so you can slip the shoe on. Would like more arch support since I have a high arch. My crewmates like it too.

Excellent Fit -
I highly recommend these shoes... I wear them everyday for aquaerobic workout classes and they have a perfect fit. They are light, the water stays out because of the mesh, and they give me perfect stability... on top of it all... they are great looking!!!

The only complaint I have with this shoe is that the elasticized toggle-type laces do not stay tight. They have to be tightened regularly during exercise or even when walking! I wouldn't get them again in spite of the fact that I like the look and the comfort.

Very versatile shoe -
Took this shoe on a Caribbean cruise. It functioned as my travel shoe, exercise shoe, and water shoe. I even received a compliment from a Jamaican native who said he liked my shoes! Love the slip-on option. Would highly recommend.

 | | I want you to know how pleased I am that my dad received his shoes so quickly! He got them today. I am amazed! He is a patient at the VA hospital in Denver. He is a WWll combat veteran who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. Recently, he was taken to the VA hospital because no one at his present home could care for him. He was sick, malnourished, and to add insult to injury, could not use his prosthetic leg because it caused a sore on his amputated stump. To shorten a long story, he had no shoes with him with which to begin learning to use his new prosthesis. I ordered them Saturday as soon as I hung up talking with him and he received them today. Now he can begin the long journey to regain his stride and health. He will be returning to the east coast of Virginia to be with family. My sincerest thanks for helping my dad recover and come home to me. Barbara I. | | ~ Barbara I., September 29 2009
