I'm a bigger guy, pushing about 220 on a 6'2" frame. I've tried all the major brands of shoes trying to find a good fit for me. Pearl Izumis have been the only shoes that I can rely on that don't aggravate my shin splints. I've had 3 pairs prior to these and bought this pair specifically to run in my first marathon just this past weekend. They were awesome! And Zappos was great as always. Super fast shipping. Always a good experience with you guys!

Might become my favorite running shoe of all time. I know, I was thinking "Pearl Izumi?! They make cool cycling jackets." These shoes, though, are fantastic. I am a big guy who needs some cushioning and some stability control. But I like to go fast. I don't need nor want pillows on my feet. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. No hot spots, no numbness, and a nice comfortable fit. I'm sold. Bye bye Asics, hello Pearl. Run like an animal.

This is the first pair of Pearls that I have tried. I was very impressed with the relative lightness of the shoe and the control and cushioning it afforded. Highly recommend.

Best Running Show yet -
My last shoe was the SynchroFloat II. These Pearl Izumi are the best running shoes I have ever had. Great cushion and support. They also hold up very well.

Lightweight, Good Cushioning -
Lighter than I had expected. Has good cushioning for heavier runners. Less pain/irritation from shin splints than with other shoes I've tried. I got the white ones so they may be harder to keep clean but most of my running is inside on a treadmill so no big deal there. Highly recommended for "ground pounders" like myself.

 |  | Zappos rocks, you so made my nine year old son’s day. We went looking for new DC shoes last Sunday and spent 3 hours only to find out that his shoe size was 6.5 right between boy’s and men's. The stores had no selection in either. We were told by one salesperson that most boys skip that size so they don't carry many. He was very disappointed, I suggested ordering from you guys that night and he didn't want to wait for shipping. I told him Zappos was quick, but he wanted to try stores again, so we did on Tuesday evening and came home empty handed again. We got online, ordered a pair he liked (there were so many to chose from in the size we needed) at 9:30 that night. Of course he was all about when would they be here, again I told him how quick you are at shipping and that probably Thursday at the latest Friday. He came home from school on Wednesday and they were on the front porch. He was so happy!!! Loved the shoes and can't wait to order another pair. I have told other people how fast they got here and no one believes that is even possible. I don't know how you do it, but thanks so much. You're the best.
