These shoes are adorable! I purchased them, along with another pair of pink Stride Rite shoes, for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She refuses to wear any shoe other than these sandals. She loves them so much I am ordering them in the next size up, since she\'ll be outgrowing them soon.

Not a good sandal.
Once again I've been disappointed by a pair of Stride Rite shoes. These shoes are super cute but the leather is stiff and the edges of the straps are sharp. The sole is not that flexible. After just a few minutes the edge of the top strap left a line in the top of my 18 month old's foot and she wanted them off. We ended up with a pair of Pediped sandals, which have softer leather and cushioning on the straps. With so many great brands of children's shoes out there, I'm not buying Stride Rite again.

I was born with two club feet and while I have done my share of dancing, hiking, and generally having fun with feet that work okay, the many operations left them rather unpretty, a little misshapen and definitely wider/shorter than most feet in proportion to the carrying bodies. Finding shoes that fit and are comfortable is a rarity for me. I search through stores regularly, more often than not
leaving empty handed. I took a chance with Zappos. There were some excellent deals and the size claimed to be what I might need. A box arrived. It said "Packed with Happiness." Inside was my order – 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots. They not only all fit, they all fit amazingly well. The box may very well have been packed with happiness, but let me tell you, not as much happiness as it was opened with!!! Thank you oh so much. You can't imagine what this is for me.
