I've been searching for months for the perfect snow boot. I finally decided to keep these because they "felt" good, even though I have wide calves, they zipped all the way up and are really warm. They felt a bit snug in length, but then I removed the insole (it's removable) and they felt perfect. So I went outside and after a few hours the backs of my ankles were killing me in both sides. The crease rubs into them and since that's where the strap is attached from I am very nervous that they'll make me suffer. I sure hope my feet adapt, otherwise I'll be very disappointed, yet again.

These are darling boots! I ordered these in the Tobacco for my daughter, and they look absolutely great with jeans tucked in! They are totally waterproof, and she lives in Chicago, so waterproof is absolutely essential. Very comfortable and very warm. She also owns Uggs, but these boots are more interesting than tall Uggs, and you can wear them in rain or snow without worrying if your feet are going to get wet. Give them a try; she loves them!

Great stylish snow boot. The boots are not too heavy for a snow shoe, love the style, easy to slip in and out of them with the front zipper. The sole of your foot is supported and the shaft is soft, not stiff, feels comfy. I usually buy size 8-8.5 shoes and the size 8 I bought fits fine with a thin pair of socks. It's a snug fit around your calves.

I\'ve have been looking high and low for the taller snow boots. These are the best I have ever seen. They are perfect! Tall enough for the deeper snow and I did not think they were too bulky like the other reviewer did. They are actually quite stylish for snow boots. Very warm and VERY comfortable. I am really going to enjoy these boots. They will look great with my pants tucked inside the boots or out. Bring on the snow!

The kind salesperson I bought these from (yes, I just guiltily admitted I did not purchase mine from Zappos) seemed enthralled over the fact that there was now a stylish 'outdoor' boot on the market. I told her I disagreed about the stylish part, because personally I think they look like inside out sheep stomachs. And just because they have handcrafted natural rubber inch thick waterproof soles doesn't mean they are outdoor boots. I bought them because I needed warm shoes, and these definitely pass on the warm scale. They are also sturdy and comfortable. If you don't mind resembling an Eskimo, grab your polar bear spear and get yourself some Sorels!
