Just right! (without socks)
I bought the Privo Lindie in Smokey Brown Nubuck. They are extraordinarily comfortable and I am delighted with them. I do not wear any socks with them, and they fit my regular size very well. If you planned to wear them with socks, you would want to order a larger size. But they are very comfortable without socks, like a sandal. But unlike most sandals, your toes stay hidden and protected in the Lindie, which is a plus for me. They are comfortable enough to wear for extensive walking and standing every day. These are now my "regular" shoes, for wearing around the house, running errands, or anywhere! I even sleep in them sometimes... yes, really.

I have had problems with my feet and wasn't sure that these shoes would work for me. It turns out that they're perfect for light walking and daily activities. The textured insoles really do give a kind of massage to one's feet!

These are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I bought them to wear to Europe this summer and they were awesome. I would highly recommend this shoe for long walks and even short ones. They are so cute too, goes with everything. Thanks Zappos; you are great.

I have several foot problems. I was in a Clark's shoe store in Dallas, and I spotted the Lindie shoes. I put my foot into one and it was the first time I didn't cringe while trying on shoes. My feet felt like they came home, unbelievable comfort. I bought two pair. When I came home and wore them a few times I went to Zappos and ordered another pair. Why did no one else ever discover that all toes do not lay flat? I absolutely love them and tell everyone I know with foot problems to try them. I rate them on a 1 to 10, a 12. It's like walking on a cloud.

I agree with all the other reviewers. This is my first pair of Privos but definitely not my last. I got the Smokey Brown Nubuck & they are very light weight, comfortable at the first try-on, and they really do fit my long narrow high-arched foot much better than similar styles in other brands. I like the closed toe and expect to be wearing these often. My packing slip says this is a discontinued style number, so am debating getting another color before they\'re all gone! the only downside is that the braid trim on the left shoe is overlapped/finished off in an awkward spot but I expect my foot will get used to that soon (that\'s why the 4 stars for comfort). Otherwise they\'re perfect for me as I gravitate toward the crunchy granola comfort look!

I order from Zappos because they carry more smaller sizes than most. These shoes ran a little large; and I had to return and order a smaller size and they actually had it in stock! The shoes are great and Zappos is great. Will continue to order from them.

Most comfortable shoes ever! Comfy right out of the box, could wear them for days and days and feet never hurt. Lots of compliments, and they are right up there with my Keens and Merrells.

This was my first time ordering from Zappos.I am very happy with the fast service. The Privo Lindie shoes I ordered came in just 2 days and I love them. They're cute and funky and incredibly comfortable. I have foot problems and wear orthotics which fit perfectly into this shoe, because there is a removable insole. Most shoes of this style do not have that feature. I plan to get another pair in a different color!

Perfect cross between sneakers and sandals. These easy-to-slip-on shoes go perfectly with jeans or khakis for weekend wear. They are very cute on in a crunchy granola way and much more comfortable than most sandals. The bumpy cushioned soles massage your feet as you walk and the "rubber" bumper prevents stubbed toes even on trails. I started with the blue ones and liked them so much I got the brown ones, too.

The Privo Lindie is a shoe that provides comfort and fit to even my narrow foot that has to wear orthotics for the best support. The elasticized top holds the shoe in place. In addition the shoe is attractive and fun to wear for both a classic or funky look. I can wear it with nylons, socks or in my bare feet.

I love this shoe. I wore it all over Italy when I needed to be comfortable but didn't want to look sloppy. It's moderately supportive and the footbed is extremely comfortable. No blisters either!

My sister told me these Privo brand shoes we comfortable and she was absolutely right. I will be buying more of this brand. Love this website because of the variety. We had searched several stores and couldn't find what we wanted. Couple of clicks and only 2 days later they were at my door. That’s fantastic service you don't find anymore.

I love these shoes!!!!! I cannot believe how comfy these are, they feel like soft, soft leather gloves that gently hug the feet and have a nice cushy sole. I like them so much; I am getting another pair in a different color. The medium width works perfectly for me even though I usually have to buy wide width shoes.

Not very comfortable -
After wearing the shoes for a minimum of 2 hours I had two blisters on the tops of my feet! Although they are very cute they are not comfortable. Will be returning and sticking with Keen shoes.

Odour of insole -
I really like the shoe, but the insole has a very antiseptic smell, just after wearing them the first time I had to keep the shoe outside. Embarassing as I was a guest on holiday. I nearly sent the shoe back. Arriving home I took the insole out and set it out in the rain for a couple of days, then I bought a Kiwi Fresh Force Shoe Freshener. This has helped. A friend said they had the same problem and had to take their new shoes off on the plane, wash their feet, and pack the shoes away, so that was an incident discussed among their seating companions.

When I saw these I thought, I have to have a pair! I loved the look of the chocolate ones. I tried to order them in my usual size 9.5 and they were out of stock. So I took a chance and ordered them in a 9 and they are PERFECT! They fit like a glove. I can't believe that anyone would think that they are to narrow. Bottom line, order a half size smaller.

I ordered this shoe to work in. I'm a pharmacy tech, so I'm on my feet all day and this shoe is perfect. I love it. I had back surgery in 2001 and I can't wear just any shoe. This one wears great. Thank you.

I usually wear a 9M. This shoe was too short in a 9 and I couldn't get it in a 9.5 so I tried a 10 which worked fine. The shoe would have been too wide except for the adjustable straps which, again, made the shoe fit quite satisfactorily. I am on my feet a lot at work and I can get through the day without discomfort. Style wise, this shoe is very casual looking, more casual than I would like, almost too casual for an office. It's more of a weekend shoe.

LOVE THIS SHOE!
I was really skeptical because I have wide feet and a bunion on the right foot. After returning 3 pairs of different shoes, I found the Privo Lindie and hoped it would be the final pair... even though some reviewers stated that they run narrow, I ordered my regular size 8.5. They fit wonderfully! I just took them out of the box, slipped them on without any problem whatsoever, and have yet to remove them! I love the adjustable elastic cord; it makes them more customized to each foot. And the picture does not do these shoes justice. I had been thinking that I would cover the white zig-zag stitching with black polish, but it's not necessary! The stitches are pinkish and blend in well, not standing out at all like I had thought they would. I just love Zappos and their customer service is second to none. everyone out there in businessland needs to take a lesson from Zappos- they do things differently and people are happy, and they are reaping the benefits from that- I know I am!

Pretty good, but…
I bought these to replace last year's Privo Joyner, which seems to have been discontinued. Those I used for summer dog-walking, about 90 minutes daily on pavement, grass, and sand. This new style has a less rugged sole, with less grip. I find myself sliding on grassy slopes. On the positive side, they are very comfortable and give my toes protection while keeping my feet cool. I prefer the denim blue to previous color choices, too.

I just bought this shoe and LOVE the narrow fit of it! I bought a different Privo in the winter and it was too wide for me, but still my favorite go-to shoe all winter. If you want a shoe that doesn’t slip around, you’ll love this.

Light and Comfy -
I find these light with adequate support for a reasonable walk. I love the shoe, sandal combo design. I've received many compliments on them. I do have a very narrow foot and recommend you try them in a half size up. Although it isn't supposed to, it does seem to add to the width. I can also mostly hide a pair of footies while wearing them, keeping them and my feet cleaner.

 |  | I just want to thank you, and commend the customer service staff at Zappos. I just couldn't believe it when you actually kept me abreast of the certain pair of shoes I was looking for! Having a size 4- 1/2 foot, is very hard finding shoes. I could wear certain kinds of shoes such as boots, clogs, etc…but having to wear 3 heavy pairs of socks in order for them to fit! Well, they fit, but my feet kill me! Clogs such as the ones I purchased, seem to be more comfortable. I'm just hoping that they're not too big for me. I can’t wait to get them and see!
