I\'ve had these sandals several months and have worn them more than any other shoe/sandal that I have. They are true to size, there isn\'t any rubbing or discomfort from the thong (like I usually experience). They are more comfortable than my sneakers. I have worn them on vacations and my feet feel great. It\'s Autumn now and I thought I might pick up another pair for next Summer in case Privo stops making them -- unfortunately, it is out of stock in my size.

I ordered these sandals for vacation. We were planning on doing alot of walking and I wanted something really comfortable but a little nicer looking than a sports type sandal. These were GREAT. They are really cushioned and were great for walking all day on pavement. They fit well and didn't need any breaking in. Sandals looked good with jeans, shorts and skirts so I didn't have to pack a bunch of shoes. I have several pair of Privo shoes but these were my first Privo sandals. I would recommend them highly.

These sandals are so cute, very comfortable. It is true to size. I like this sandal; you feel your foot like a sleepys because is extremely comfortable. I want to buy these shoes again.

Ouch! I usually love Privo shoes, but these were so painful. Though they are decent looking, there isn't much cushion or arch support. I live in NYC and my feet just ache after wearing these to/from work or out for the day. I'm honestly more comfortable in the 3 inch heels I wear once I get to work. It is super disappointing because I've been looking for a comfortable shoe to wear around town. The search continues.

I was looking for the perfect sandal to wear with skirts, dresses, shorts, etc. for a trip with a lot of walking, including uneven roads, city walking, and over dirty and gravel. These are great, very comfortable to walk in, wore them all over the Mediterranean, even climbed the Acropolis in them! They were the perfect shoe, my feet never hurt, and the color is a great neutral to match pretty much everything. Great buy.

These sandals are so lightweight that I feel like I'm walking on air. They are so comfortable that my daughter 'permanently borrowed' my first pair for all the walking she did on her vacation. I ordered a second pair for myself. The only problem for me is that I needed to order a half size smaller because the heel strap was a little long making my foot slide backward. Zappos made it easy to do that first size exchange!

I bought these shoes in black but returned them. They were cute and seemed comfortable walking around my apartment. Ultimately I returned them because they were too loose (my foot is regular width, but skinny top to bottom), I didn't like the patent leather and the plain leather combo, and didn't like the brown color of the footbed, I didn't like how it contrasted with the black straps. Lengthwise the 7.5 size was true to size. I ended up with Born Lusaka which has a similar strappy design but looks much cooler.

Super cute sandals, but unfortunately they hurt my toes so I ended up giving them to my mother in law. For my slightly wide feet, the horizontal strap that goes across the toes were too narrow and they cut into my baby toes. However, my MIL who does not have wide feet, LOVES these sandals and says they are comfortable on her. \r\n\r\nI ended up buying another pair of Privo sandals, the Bucky, and those have been perfect for me. The straps angle just right, so that they don\'t cut into my toes. I\'d recommend that style if you are thinking of the Arbor, but have wide-ish feet.

Trying to find a stylish sandal is usually an exercise in frustration for me. I prefer a thong style, and I don't usually like things that have a back. But, for various reasons, I have to be careful about the type of shoe I wear, and it has to have a back. I found my original pair of Privo Arbors at Macy's. They were comfortable from the moment I tried them on and walked around. The footbed is comfortable, and it keeps my foot and hip alignment in check. The strap in back does it's job, and I hardly notice it is there. There is no rubbing on any part of my foot. I have worn these in various types of situations and they have been fabulous. I can go all day walking; I've worn them on dressy nights out, they look great with capris. They have fit into every situation and been the best summer shoe I have worn in a very long time. I've also gotten many compliments on them. After having the original shoe for one week (in bronze) I bought them in two other colors. I was a little worried that maybe I just found the one right pair of shoes and the others would not be as good. No worries! The two new pairs were every bit as wonderful as the original. I have been nothing short of thrilled with my Privo Arbors.

I also bought these in the Pewter color. They are by far the best summer sandals I've ever purchased. They are so comfortable as everyone has said, and great looking as well! I wore them when I was traveling in Athens for a month. They are perfect for urban lifestyle because they can be both dressy and casual. I wore them with shorts, dresses, and capris. They looked great with everything. I know this is hard to believe, but they really rock.

I was so excited to get these shoes, but when I tried them on my bubble burst. The foot bed seems "thin", and the shoe didn't feel secure on my foot. My heel didn't stay on the shoe easily, and the back strap was not as adjustable as I needed it to be. Plus the ball of my foot is too wide for the dainty strap at the front of the shoe. Rats! They are so darn cute, but back they go.

I got the white Privo Arbors to go with my wedding dress (outdoor casual). I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. They\'re very comfortable shoes and the curve of the bottom of the shoe makes it more ergonomic. I would get these shoes again any day. I\'ve worn them several times to break them in and I\'m looking forward to wearing them more often. They would make good sandals to walk around town in because they are so comfortable.

Really comfortable and super-cute. These shoes can be dressed up or down, and the small lift in the sole give the appearance of a dressier and less comfortable shoe. I wish the back strap was more adjustable, as it can not be tightened enough to make the shoe fit tightly. Other than that, great shoes!

These sandals are so comfortable and didn\'t need to be broke in. I work long hours and these sandals were great. Clarks Privo get my support! I recently bought this sandal in the pewter color and I couldn’t be happier with it. First, the style strikes that perfect balance between business casual and dressy. I wear these with everything from jeans to nicer sundresses. I think they even look nice with an all black outfit for a bit of metallic flare. Second, these sandals are unbeatable for comfort. I can’t wear heels comfortably, so these are my new summer-comfort-dressy shoes. The nubbly sole feels great and they are nice and solid to walk on, never slippery. If anything, I would say that I wish they had a longer strip of velcro on the strap, because I might want them a tad more snug, but they are perfectly serviceable as is. I highly recommend these shoes!

These shoes are very comfortable and can be worn with skirts or casual outfits. They are true to size. The footbed has little soft textures to massage your feet. One of my best purchases at Zappos.

WOW, I finally found them!
I have been looking for the perfect summer sandal that looks good on a size 10 foot and is comfortable. I found it in this sandal, it really does make your feet look good because it is simple, yet has enough support. I also like the traction aspect of it. I got the pewter color and it is a good neutral, if you need it to be dressier, the black patent would be better. I think it will need just a little bit of break in time because I'm not used to the thong between the toe, but I think it will be fine.

Great shoe. Needed one size smaller -
I usually wear a 6 or 6.5, and had to order 3 sizes before getting one that fit properly (a 5). The overall shoe seems to fit only slightly smaller than its size, but on the first two pairs I tried, I was never able to adjust the back heel strap tightly enough. It's like it's just too long for the shoe. The 5 works quite well for me, though the strap that goes across the ball of the foot took a few days of wear to break in and relax a bit. They're really, really comfy - at least for casual use. I'm hoping they'll hold up well enough to be a walking shoe when we travel next month.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I really like the Birkenstock Gizeh. Between that and the Privo Arbor I've got my dress/skirt bases covered.

I've owned previous styles of Clarks Privo line, but never a sandal. These are divine. Instant comfort, they will be my summer 2009 shoe. I'm going back for the other color.

These are so cute and comfortable. I needed instant comfort shoes for a recent trip and needed to pack light. This one pair of sandals looks cute/stylish with capris, skirts, sundresses, and pants. The pewter color is very neutral and went very well with all my colors. However, I would not advise this shoe for very rough cobblestone terrain as the straps are slim and will not keep your foot stable if you are inclined to need a lot of foot stability.
