I first bought the tan and black Tatagas and absolutely love them. I am a regular 8, but needed a 9 2/3 in the Tataga, as the toe box is a bit short. I then wanted the other color combination, but it wasn't available. So I got the black. They're not quite as comfortable as the tan & black, but they're okay, and I do enjoy the less pronounced roll the Tataga has, compared to the 5 other pairs of MBTs I own.

Ordered and received MBT Tataga sneakers. Love them. Ordered 1/2 size larger than usual after reading reviews and they are a perfect fit. Told my son and he now owns a pair of MBT. My feet always hurt before and now I can't get over how a pair of MBT has taken care of that problem. My friend from Switzerland suggested that I try MBT and she was so right. I will continue to buy only MBT. Great shoe for comfort. I want to try a sandal next time, too.

I absolutely love this shoe! They rock! I bought it a full size larger than I normally wear, based on other comments, and the fact that all the half sizes were sold out! Also, I tend to wear thicker socks with sneakers. Well, the fit was spot on! Comfy right out of the box, and they weren't too cracked out looking either! I know they tend to not be the most attractive shoes, but the beige Tataga model is super cute! I'm not really a sneaker girl, I love wearing John Fluevog, fun shoe styles like that, but I'm trying to find shoes that are comfy and good for my back since I have degenerative disk disease and it doesn't take much for a shoe to throw out my back. Right now my back is acting up terribly but I had to run an errand this evening. I put on my new MBTs (which did look pretty cute) and went out. Normally an errand like that where I had to walk a bit and then stand on line would have made it much worse. But it didn't. In fact, the pain lessened from before. I can only think that the shoe had at least something to do with it, since that is the only thing different that I have done today. I know these shoes are not cheap, but I think that they are worth every cent, and I'm not even on my second day of wearing them. I can't wait to save up for the Mary Janes and the crazy looking black boots! Thanks MBT and Zappos!

Great shoes! These are my second pair of MBTs, and I have no plans on buying any other type. I have an arthritic great toe, and limp after an hour or two of walking in "normal" comfort shoes. I wore these exclusively on a trip to Japan - lots of walking - with no foot pain and no limping until I had to take them off and climb lots of steps for a castle tour. I was so happy to put my shoes back on!\r\n\r\nThe rocker sole on these isn\'t as thick as other models so it\'s not as "weird" looking. They still work just as well, though.

Shoes are GREAT, except that the sizing is slightly small. The left foot (which is slightly bigger) hits the end of the shoe. Don't usually have that problem in this size. So, I'm having to return it, but otherwise they felt great!

I like the look of the MBT Mary Jane style, but could not find a pair that were wide enough in the toe box without slipping in the heel. I did not want the sprightly colored sneaker styles, because I needed to be able to wear my shoes at work, so I chose the relatively innocuous style of Tataga, in black. The laces help me to get a better fit. I got 1/2 size larger than I usually wear, because so many reviewers said they run small. While these seemed to be comfortable in the toe box, after I wore them for a few days, I felt some looseness in the heel of, oddly, just the right shoe. So I stuck a Dr. Scholl's insert to the top back of the shoe. This, and socks seem to help. Perhaps I could have worn the next size down, but it was too late to exchange them, since I'd worn them outside. The black color is neutral and my longest slacks cover the shoes a bit. I feel a little awkward wearing these because of the rocking heel, and well, they are just not very girly. I've been wearing them now for 2 weeks, and got them because I had heard they have helped folks who struggle with the pain of plantar fasciitis. There wasn't any instant relief, or anything. But I've also been getting some pretty aggressive physical therapy which seems to be helping, so I couldn't say for sure how much the shoes have helped in that regard. There is a weird warm, tingly feeling that I got in my feet and calves during the first week or so. I gather that is from the action unused muscles have been getting. Also, the arch of my non-plantar fasciitis foot has been sore, which has scared me a bit, but I think it is just from adjusting to the shoe. Once I fixed the bit of heel slip, my feet felt pretty good in the shoes. I don't like wearing them so much if I am just standing around, but for walking they are great. They kind of push you off for each step. I took a 1 1/2 mile walk the other day, and was afraid the p.f. would feel worse, but it didn't. I got around okay, and did not feel an increase in pain the next day. I do feel pretty energetic in these shoes.

Looking for a walking shoe for visit to Europe. Found that I needed 1-2 sizes larger than my normal shoe size. Even though one shoe felt a bit snug I still had movement of my heel and after about 1hr had blisters develop. Also with regard to the magic – I suspect they do work some central core muscles of balance but I didn't feel that magic. No muscles magically burning after 1hr. Was so excited to get these and it was sort of a let down. Not sure I would recommend them or buy them again.

I couldn't wait to get these shoes. I think they're the cutest for women that MBT has made. Sadly, even going up 1/2 size, the shoe was still just a smidge too short and, alas, I had to send them back. But I'm on the wait list for them. I will have this pair of shoes! The staff has been wonderful, and you cannot beat free shipping both ways. So they may not have fit, but I have become a Zappos customer for life!

I just received these shoes yesterday and took a 2 mile walk. They are easy to adjust to and provide totally pain-free walking. I have true problem feet. My feet would have ached from this walk in normal athletic shoes (heels and arches). Wow! I am a convert. I was afraid they would be like Earth Shoes (which make my heels ache), but they are not. They absolutely take all pressure off the heel area during walking and also have awesome arch support. This style is extremely well made and could be worn with casual clothes to work. Phenomenal service, as always from Zappos.

Three years ago I was told that my foot pain was called plantar fascitis and that I would need orthotics. I spent the $300. on orthotics and discovered that there really is a limited selection of shoes available to support orthotics. Two years later I discovered MBT\'s and realized that they can be worn with or without orthotics because they give my feet all that they need. I purchased the Tataga\'s for work, I am a middle school teacher and because I am on my feet all day I needed something comfortable to wear with dress slacks. They do not look orthopedic like some MBT\'s and they are stylish. However, MBT\'s do not come in wide widths and because of the plantar fascitis my feet are always slightly swollen and wide widths are prefered. The Tagata\'s were a little too tight. To solve this I purchased a pair of wooden shoe stretchers and placed them into the shoes over the weekend. By Monday they were perfect! I now own two pairs of MBT\'s and will be searching Zappos.com for my next pair!

This is my fourth pair of MBTs, and they keep getting better! I agonized over that first purchase, and it was the many positive, candid reviews at Zappos.com that convinced me I should at least try them, and I have to say, they've changed my life for the better. In general, for MBTs, these are the standard truths: you need to order up a half or full size. You just do; they're very snug. That said, use your credit card, take advantage of Zappos' amazing return policy and customer service, and order 2 pairs and wear them around on carpet a few days to see what's best for you. We all have different feet. Also, they haven't always been the most attractive shoes. It should tell you something that I used to see women crossing Grand Central Terminal in front of me in the morning, and inwardly laugh. How could they be seen in public with those things on? Cut to about a year later, I'm visiting DC with my mother: After spending a Saturday walking the mall and museums in my very chic little flat sandals, I thought I was going to need to remove my feet surgically. Just not smart. Sunday? You know I put on my very white, very clunky MBT sandals and didn't give a fig about what anyone would think: I walked about 14 miles in all that day, no leg aches, no foot pain, and sandals = little foot tan! I use my various MBTs to run 10 miles a week at the gym, to walk all weekend around NYC, about 8-10 miles each day and my sandals are my vacation go-to pair for getting away. For these particular shoes, I would say they're a bit more true to size than some of my others, and the heel rise is lower than my original pair, so honestly, for me, I'm going to be wearing these cute denim kicks out and about without shame! Perfect for fall with dark jeans or khakis, and just think: you can put them on at 7:30, run all day, fun and games or work and play, and at the end of the day, not only don't your feet hurt, but your feet and legs actually FEEL GOOD. Just waiting to see what my 5th pair of MBTs is going to be!

Really liking so far! First full day of wearing the shoe. I'm on my feet all day and I can't feel any fatigue at all in my feet. Usually at lunch I have to take my shoes off because my feet are fatigued. So far I am thrilled with these shoes and will probably purchase more MBT's. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my normal size. I had tried them on in a local store before purchasing them here.

Warning! This style of MBTs has a very uncomfortable seam sown across the inside back of the shoe. This seam rubs crippling blisters on the backs of your heels. I was very dissatisfied after spending this much on these shoes.

Well, let me tell you, these shoes rock! I am a bartender and am on my feet till the wee hours of the morning. I would literally come home from work, my feet hurting so bad I would limp in, take a 600mg pain killer, roll my feet on frozen iced water bottles, take a hot bath and try to sleep. No kidding. But no longer do I do any of that, well, I still take a bath, but not because my feet are killing me. I love these shoes so much I'm going to try other styles of the MBT's, but not for work. I like this style for the work I do. They do run about 1/2 size small. I normally wear a 9 and a 9 1/2 fits good. Oh, trust me, I have bad feet. Something called plantar fasciitis. These shoes reduced the pain to either nil or none. It seems the longer I wear them the better they work. Enjoy them, ahhh.

I really loved the look of this shoe and the noticeable exertion of muscles when walking in this shoe. However, it rode high in the back of my foot & significantly irritated the back of my heel to the point of breaking the skin (had socks on). I'll have to find an MBT shoe that does not ride so high in the back because I love the workout.

Another terrific MBT shoe - great comfort and these have a bit of flair that some do not - I love the toe design (makes my foot look smaller!). Comfort is great, though these shoes do tend to be a bit heavier than some athletic shoes. I like the substantial feel of them, but others may want a lighter shoe. I hope that MBT goes back to designing more of the Sports High styles. I like those the best.

I had heard that MBT shoes were "good for you" and wanted to try some. This particular style is not as raised as some MBTs I had tried on so the transition to walking on them was not as great. I needed the next size up from my normal size in order to get a good fit. These shoes can be worn in most circumstances, though I do not yet trust myself in them during rainy conditions.

I have already written a review of this MBT shoe, but I am revising my original statement. I have worn this shoe again today for about two hours inside our home. I have been reading and essentially sedentary for most of that time. I am wearing stockings instead of peds,\r\n which seem to be impossible but are the natural thing to wear with these shoes. At present, my feet are extremely uncomfortable hence I am revising my comments to say that these MBTS are definitely not up to their usual caliber. I have five pairs of MBTS, and this is the only one to cause so much trouble. Jane G. Pemberton

After wearing these shoes for a week at work, I'm a UPS driver. I really didn't notice any muscle soreness from working different muscles. I did, however notice that they do improve your posture and your gate. I will continue to wear them but I had to get the black ones, and with shorts they are down right hideous. A 1/2 size up and the fit was perfect.

I am really enjoying this sneaker-like shoe. It is the best style I've had so far in the fashion sense (for an MBT). I started with the baby bluemoon-like shoe when they first came out. This is my 5th pair. I wear them almost every day. Fun, funky with jeans and jean skirts. I have to say though, it does not feel as though I am getting "the workout" (the reason for my 4 star rating); not as high? The shoe fits great and the fabric is great for summer. And thanks Zappos for your quick service and quick crediting on returns (the main reason I shop at Zappos and not other on-line stores).

I am a great fan of MBT shoes and own five pairs. This particular shoe, however, does not seem to have the same level of comfort for walking that my others have. The pain is in the metatarsal area which is not true of my other MBTs. I have the feeling that the comfort aspect of this shoe has been compromised for the design, which is very attractive. J.G. Skeptic converted...\r\nI have to say despite a coworker having purchased MBTs and loving them I was not convinced these shoes could possibly be worth the price...THEY ABSOLUTELY ARE!!! One testimonial that really caught my eye was the nurse that gave up her Dansko\'s for MBTs- THAT is impressive. I am also a nurse and work 12 hour shifts...I have \'creaky\' knees from high school sports and these shoes have made an immense difference in my standing/walking ability. The shoes do take a wearing or 2 to get used to but are worth the little amount of time invested for the long term return. This particular style, Tataga, has a slightly less exaggerated curve to the sole which I think makes it a little faster/easire to get used to the style change. Ordering from Zappos only adds to the positive experience with free shipping both ways...be sure and read to see if you need to order a 1/2 size bigger. The only draw back, if you call it that, is you will want more pairs LOL

I love the new style of the MBT Tataga. It\'s not as orthopedic looking as most MBT\'s. I\'m not sure though that the sole is as comfortable (especially on my left foot) as the MBT Kisumu sandals I own. Otherwise, they fit the bill for a good walking shoe. Zappos service is impeccable, can\'t be beat by any other online vendor.
