Clarks uses soft supple leather and this shoe is no exception. The only drawback is that it tends to stretch with wear. The shoe is comfortable and well made, good looking. There are three adjustment straps. The one at the heel needs to be fine tuned or it tends to pull your foot diagonally so that your heel does not sit squarely on the heel of the shoe. The jury is still out on this one. If I could have duplicated my Riekers from 2004, I would have.

Excellent sandals. Very comfortable. Fits true to size. I have wide feet, a high arch, and I am very difficult to fit. These sandals fit very well for me in the XW. You won’t go wrong with this one.

These sandals are very comfortable. I usually have trouble with sandals hurting because my feet are not narrow. Love them!

I have worn these shoes from the first day I received them. I have a very wide foot and bunions. So getting something that takes care of these problems is difficult. Very happy I ordered them and will order one in every color.

I love these sandals, however, when I pull the velcro tab it sticks up because there is not enough velcro on the sandal to hold it down. It might be a good idea (for future sandals) to allow more velcro on the sandal.

Comfy casual - As for looks, what you see is what you get. True to the picture. The level of comfort is awesome. True it may not be the cutest, but cool with jeans and just plain walking around town. I wear these when walking my dog for 45 minutes, doing errands and my feet do not feel tired. The 3 velcro sites are cool to adjust the shoe; it's what I expect from Clarks. This is my 3rd pair.

Not the most feminine shoe but certainly the most comfortable. So comfortable that I ordered another brown and black pair for next year. I have large wide feet and these fit and feel wonderful.

I had a pair of Clarks sandals and one of them started to come apart. I really didn't want a new pair as I loved those sandals and wanted to get them fixed, but unfortunately that option was not viable. That style was no longer available, but the terrific team at Zappos was able to help me out and I got a pair of the Clarks Sarasotas. The sandals are all right; not as comfortable a fit as my old ones, but I have to say the customer service people at Zappos were terrific.

Great shoes, great fit but they seem to "steer" the foot off to the side in the heel area. I love the way they look and feel so now own two pair and hope "slipping off" the shoe is not a long-term issue. I am very tender-footed so am delighted with the comfort of these sandals. Also delighted to find these nice sandals in "narrow" width. It seems to be increasingly difficult to find shoes/sandals/athletic shoes in "narrow" width.

Even the "Narrow" doesn't work for me. I'm generally a very positive person, but the jury is still out as to whether or not I'm keeping these. While the back strap has a velcro closure, you can only make it "bigger" and this just isn't small enough for a narrow foot. If you do try to pull it tighter, first of all, it's difficult to pull through the metal ring and bulges. Then you realize that the leather isn't even dyed, so it shows tan, not black. The footbed is very comfortable, but I agree with other posts, that the elastic under the front strap is a little uncomfortable if you need to make it smaller, which I did. So, if you have narrow feet, even though it says narrow, these might not the shoe for you. By the way, I don't have very narrow feet, the standard N works well for me.

These fit perfect, good arch support. It feels like you are walking on pillows I am on my feet all day and need good supportive shoes. The strap in the back keeps my heel in place, and the easy Velcro straps make it easy to fit the shoe to you foot.

I needed some black sandals, not too fussy, but still stylish. Well, you know Zappos, they arrived almost the next day, but guess what? They were too hard to get on. So back they went and I ordered another style, which were great. Good looking, comfortable, and a cinch to get on. Just put my foot in them and fold over the velcro straps. I have received many compliments on them. I couldn't be happier.

This purchase was my first with Zappos; what a refreshing experience! Fast confirmation of my order and super fast delivery! Everything that I have seen speaks volumes of customer satisfaction and service, so unlike most companies today. The shoe was exactly as described. As this was my second pair of Clarks Sarasota I was anxiously awaiting their arrival. For me they are a very comfortable sandal, making walking for longer periods easy. They are not high fashion, but a nice simple design. I have a very hard foot to fit and never order shoes online for that reason. I've also found one pair of the same style may not fit the second time around. But their guarantee made it a win-win situation and worth the investment. I was very happy with the results and will order from them in the future. Keep up the great work Zappos! Whatever you are doing it's working!

Everyone is surprised at the nice style. When they learn it is a Clark, they are even more impressed. These are so comfortable and easy to adjust to your feet. Buy them, you'll love them! Really!

I love these shoes. I have very large/wide feet for a woman, and shoes that fit me well are very hard to find. These shoes are comfortable, adjustable, and still look nice. I strongly recommend them.

Due to an ankle fracture, surgery, cast, and six weeks of PT, I needed a summer sandal that would give me support, flexibility and style. These sandals fit the bill!!! Due to the swelling of my foot and ankle, I can adjust the straps according to the amount of swelling I may experience throughout the day etc. I am normally a M width, but I ordered the W width and I am happy I did so as I can adjust the straps for each foot, loose enough for the surgery foot and tight enough for my good foot. Works great! I also love the Patent Leather look... not too casual a look and can actually go either way with outfits etc. I highly recommend this shoe. It is well made and very comfortable!!! Zappos to the rescue again for me. If I see a shoe that I like in a store before I buy it there, I go home and check with Zappos. The no hassle return policy is a real plus and if needed is so easy.

I ordered these sandals in an 8.5N and I found them to be a great fit, both in length and width. I have hard feet to fit since one is almost a half size longer and a little narrower than the other. The shoes fit both feet well in length and the velcro straps easily adjust to allow for that narrower foot. They’re very comfortable and good for a good sandal for walking. I recommend them.

Not quite right -
When I put them on, the Sarasota felt pretty good, but after awhile, their problems showed up. They are tolerably comfortable if I don't plan to walk very fast, very far, or very long. The elastic/velcro toe strap irritates my wide feet on the stitching of the elastic both when it is stretched (end of day) and when it is less tight (morning). I would like no elastic better. Also, my whole foot aches after I have walked awhile and the top edge of the toe strap begins to hurt. I have some Easy Spirit sandals of a similar style that feel much better.

The Clarks Sarasota is a great sandal. With the velcro adjustable straps, you can customize it more than most sandals. I have a wide foot and I’m usually a 7.5, but this size was sold out so I got the 8 D. It was a tad long, but it still is OK because I can adjust the them with the velcro. I’m on my feet for many hours a day and this is a very comfortable shoe and looks fine with pants or a skirt.

Comfort from the 1st time I put them on - walking or standing, no problems at all. It’s tough to find a shoe that really doesn’t need to have a break-in time, but these shoes worked out great. Not big on fashion, but who cares.

I had been trying to find a pair of Clarks that were a style similar to my beloved three year old pair that had walked their last trail. I was not successful looking in all of the familiar retail outlets so I went online. Zappos had a wide selection of styles and the Clark’s Sarasota is almost the same shoe, but not quite. The addition of the heel cushion did not work well for me as the stitching rubbed on my heel causing an abrasion. I covered the insole with an insert and the shoes are great. So, a note to Clark’s - lose the heel cushion and stick to tried and true styling.

These are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have. I recently wore them on a flight and my feet tend to swell. The adjustable straps are great! Also, very easy to put on/off in the airport security lines. They work for casual, but also stylish enough for a night out. I’m getting another pair. I have a hard time finding shoes in my size, so Zappos works great for me with the no shipping charges.

These adjust to a narrow foot -
I wasn't sure about these shoes as they are a bit wide for my 10A feet. I also have foot issues, so most shoes are uncomfortable. However, I really like these. The velcro straps allow me to fit them to my foot so they don't slide around, and wearing them for a day of walking was comfortable. I am surprised because so many shoes just don't work for me. So yes, I would recommend them.
