Love these shoes -
The Solomon Exit Sport 2 is an excellent shoe. I have a couple pairs and I buy 1/2 size larger than my 9 1/2 as that seems the perfect fit. Great feel and comfort. I mainly use to walk and hike around the upstate NY area. Have a pair of the Gore-Tex for winter and they are perfect.

Great shoe from a great shoe company.
I've been wearing Salomon shoes for the past 10 years. This is my third pair in that time. I use their shoes for everyday walking and hiking. I specifically got this pair since they were touted as being more comfortable and had many features specific for walking. I love them. They are extremely comfortable and are consistent with the Salomon look. Great shoe!

Great shoe except...
I've owned quite a few pairs of Salomon shoes which is why I bought more. Unfortunately, attention to quality of construction is not quite what it used to be. The last pair I've worn for over five years and they're just beginning to show it. I doubt these new versions will make it that long. My biggest complaint is that the new materials and construction cause the shoes to squeak quite noticeably. My five-year-old pair has never made a sound. Other than that quibble, they look terrific and are very comfortable. Make sure you order a half size bigger as they seem to be a little skimpy on their sizing these days; the first pair I ordered (the same size as the old pair) was much too small. THANKS! Zappos for the extremely quick turnaround on getting the new pair out to me!
