This shoe is both good looking and super to wear, comfortable and makes a great walking shoe. I say this with some authority as I have a very hard time finding a comfortable shoe since I'm a diabetic (in no way advertising them for diabetics; my own personal experience!). I am planning on getting another pair. Thanks, Zappos, for having them available.

I love these shoes! I have them in tan. I got them for a trip to Paris. I wore them a few times before the trip to break them in (didn't need much), and walked all over Paris in them. They are super comfortable and cute with jeans or skirts, with or without socks. I found that they run big, and I needed a 9.5 instead of my usual 10.

I purchased these shoes for a city visit that I knew would involve a lot of walking (and toting a baby around). This is my first pair of Clarks - their styles in previous years haven't really appealed to my style or 30-ish age. But I noticed recently that they have some cute new styles, and I was just as pleased with these shoes in person. They are super-cute, extremely comfortable, and light weight. They also have great arch support and heel cushion. I wouldn't hesitate to get another pair of Clarks (and maybe these in a different color!).

It took me awhile to break in these shoes--a little time each day, but my fussy feet finally voted in their favor. They're unlike my usual choices (Birkenstock, Clarks, Earth), but after a short trial period, they seem to mold to the foot, and everybody's happy! Very cool-looking, too.

Cute and Sporty -
I bought this in beige. It is really cute to wear with cropped pants. It is fairly comfortable, but I find that my heel kind of slips in and out of the heel of the shoe and the back strap is not adjustable.

Very comfortable!
Comfortable shoe, looks great, feels great. Fits to size. Others have asked me about the shoe. Good buy, especially if you walk a lot and/or have back issues. Great buy and all the high quality of Clarks shoes.

Pleasantly surprised -
I was pleasantly surprised with these shoes. This is my first pair of Clarks (and not my last) and they are quite comfortable. I get compliments every time I wear them. They fit true to size and width. I will definitely look at Clarks again.

Love these!
I have the High Surfs in red and love them for any outfit! I originally ordered the 8.5, but returned them for the 8. I don't know if Clarks are a bit on the bigger side, but I also wear an 8 in the Privos... another great shoe!

Cute & comfy casual shoe -
This shoe was comfy right out of the box. The elastic on the bucked strap keeps it snug, but it doesn't cut into my high instep. The toe box could be a little deeper, or the shoe a bit longer. I usually wear a 9 or 9 1/2, but I ordered a 10 in this shoe, and think a 10 1/2 (which isn't made) would be perfect. Still, it's leather and will stretch a bit. The insole provided is very supportive and I haven't tried my orthotics yet, because the insole is firmly glued. The "red" color is really more like coral, and it's lovely!

Funky-cute and super comfy -
Not glamorous but much dressier than most shoes this soft and comfortable. The adjustable buckle strap is a big plus--no snaggy velcro. Good for long walks right out of the box. Doesn't press on bunions. The bit of elastic inside the back strap creates a great fit for narrow heels. May need to get in other colors!

Clark's High Surf -
Not attractive, especially in size 12 (that happens a lot, unfortunately). The toe end turned up and made me feel like I had court jester shoes on. They are not easy to get on and off. They had very little cushioning or arch support. They were also a little too long, which is normal for me because I'm actually an 11 1/12, which doesn't exist in shoe maker world. The material also felt like it would be too hot for spring/summer. I had to send them back.

This is a comfortable shoe and can be worn without socks. I wore the shoes on a recent trip and walked in them for a shopping trip, and found that they were very comfortable. My feet did not hurt. They fit well, and the heel fits my feet, plus there is the added feature of the adjustable strap. Overall, a good shoe that looks nice with sport clothes or dress clothes.
