Guys can wear these shoes, too! It's also marketed as the Dansko Karl, but the Sonja is more readily available in smaller sizes and offers more variety. Go by the European size, which is the same for men or women. These work well in a business casual environment, and are the best for traveling. I whip right through airport checkpoints! And it's so nice to be able to slip them on and off on the plane without having to reach down.

These clogs are so comfortable. Absolutely no break-in time. I was able to wear them right out of the box. They are my go to clog for work.

This is my first Dansko purchase and I love them! I have knee and back issues and am standing all day as an elementary teacher. This is the first shoe that is totally supportive, comfortable and stylish. I can dress them up or wear them with jeans. Perfect fit.

What can I say? I love these clogs; they're my 3rd pair and Zappos gets it right each time! I ordered them last night and I had them this morning. The clogs are very comfortable right out of the box for me. The leather is a bit tough, but will break in over time with wear. The arch support is great. I'm a resident physician and I spend most of my time at work on my feet; at the end of a 30 hour shift my back and feet still feel great. I highly recommend these clogs. Apart from the comfort, they look great. By the way, I found them to run a bit small so I suggest that if you are usually a US 6, I suggest you get a 37.

Fabulous comfortable smart looking clog. Fit is not true to my regular size. Would normally be 8.5 to 9. Had to return and take smaller size 7.5 to 8. Just right with the open back. I'll be looking to buy more Dansko clogs.

These are nice shoes. I ordered them as a result of the testimonials about the health effects of Dansko shoes. I can\'t say yet whether they\'ll fix my leg problems, but I like them. Based on others\' comments, I ordered both size 41 and 42; I wear U.S. size 11.5. The advice to go down a size didn\'t prove out for me; in fact, the size 42, which is supposedly 11.5-12, is even a tad short for me. They\'re wearable though, my heel just hangs over a tiny bit.

This shoe is a staple in my winter wardrobe. Can't beat Dansko for comfort! I have 6 pairs of Dansko clogs (closed heel) and was looking for something a little different; these are great! Was concerned that I might have a problem staying in them while walking but they hug my feet like a charm! And these look just as good with a skirt as they do with jeans. Shopping at Zappos is the absolute best customer service experience the web offers!

I have had 2 ankle surgeries, one of which included a bone graft. I've been told to always wear orthotics to preserve what's left of my ankle. I was really bummed about the selection of shoes left that I could wear until I found Danskos. I still have to spend most of my day on my feet, bum ankle and all, and find the shoe that fits in the morning, that still fits after the ankle has swollen and supports my arches are Dansko clogs. I have 4 pairs of them!

The Sonja clog is a winner after the week-long break-in period. The top of the shoe was a bit stiff at first, but now it\'s great. My foot feels secure in the shoe as well, and there is no feeling of \'slipping out\' or shuffling as I walk.The design of the shoe provides all day comfort as I stand of my feet for 10 hours.

I bought these shoes 11 years ago when I was in medical school. Hands down, the best money I\'ve ever spent. One shoe finally developed a small hole after a decade of rough wear (at least 2-3 times/week, and I\'m an OB/GYN, so I walked about a thousand miles in that time). I\'m buying another pair.

I was disappointed. I've only had these shoes for a couple of days and I'm not sure how long they take to break in, but I have really painful shin splints. The stiff rubber on the top of the shoe is digging into my foot and the bone near my big toe is sore. I haven't decided if I'm keeping these yet or not. I think I'll make my decision after wearing them for a full two days.

I love the look of these shoes and used to wear them all the time in my youth, but unfortunately I've found them to be uncomfortable the few times I've worn this time around. It may well be because I have foot problems from age and exercise and the inflexible soles and heaviness of the shoes are no longer good for me. They were recommended by my cousin, a fellow shoe aficionado, who loves them, and since nurses often wear them for work, they must be extremely comfortable for some, just not me.

I love these shoes. The restaurant I work in has the worst kitchen floors. After just a couple of days breaking in these shoes are slip free. This is the second consecutive pair I have bought. The last ones lasted over 2 years wearing daily at work and home. They do take a little breaking in time, but well worth it!

I really like these clogs. You can wear them with shorts, skirts and pants. The brown color works well with everything. These clogs also last a ridiculously long time; they will outwear you, you will not wear them out!

I was worried about buying these online. I'd never purchased Dansko shoes before. When my Sonjas arrived I put them on and didn't want to take them off, so good did they feel. They were a perfect fit. I'm a teacher who stands on my feet many hours a day. I'm looking forward to cooler weather in a few weeks, clog season.

As a school teacher, I am on my feet all day long. I walk the halls and stand while monitoring during lunch room duty. I stand while instructing my students. This is the most comfortable of shoes I have ever purchased. I will be ordering a second pair in another color.

These are the best work shoes ever! I stand for 14-18 hours daily, and they have never let me down. I don\'t twist my ankles as much as in the Professional style of Dansko (closed heel), either. Just remember to break them in by wearing for a few hours a day for about a week before saying you don\'t like them.

These clogs are good looking albeit rather plain, but that's part of their appeal! I wear them in the winter for their height (above the snow, usually) and their comfort. In the summer they're great (perfect, really) for gardening. You can really beat them up and get them dirty, but when you're done digging just hose them off and they look great again! I highly recommend these shoes. They are extremely sturdy, practical and good looking. Plus, they last forever and are true to size!

I love my Dansko clogs!! There are the most comfortable clogs I\'ve ever owned. I also love Zappos. The first pair I ordered was too small and Zappos handled the exchange with no hassle and lots of friendliness.

Most comfortable shoes Dansko makes!!!! I\'m a nurse on my feet for 12 hours at a time, and these shoes are great. I owned a pair of Dansko Cabrio (the same style as these only with a back on it) before these, and the rim that goes across the top of your foot would rub and get uncomfortable. Not a problem with these! Plus it\'s nice to be able to move your feet out a bit when you\'re sitting down. Felt true to size, but might be difficult to wear if you have a very narrow foot. Worth a try!

Awesome on the go shoes!
I am a size 10 so I bought the size 40 (9.5-10 US size). It fits just right and I can see how you don't want to buy a bigger size because you can slip and slide while walking. I have the red Cordovan Cabrio and it is my first red shoe. The red tone is subtle enough to easily wear with many different outfits--with a skirt, dress, shorts, capris, jeans, slacks. Also usable for day or casual evenings out. I bought this to use to and from my dance classes that I teach. Easy to wear, comfortable, and fashionable.
