These are great looking shoes, but they are not as comfortable as the Converse All Stars with laces. I find these to be more comfortable with socks however. I am a size 7.5, but I ordered these in 6.5 and they fit perfectly. (I know this from my other Converse shoes by the way, I am obsessed with Zappos these days, the service is outstanding!)

Very stylish and comfortable shoe for guys! Looks great casually and can even go with jeans and a nice button up for those not so dressy, yet cool and stylish nights. A great buy!

Good look and very comfy, although some might feel like their size is a bit loose, but I do not wear socks with this shoe, so it doesn't bother me. The shoes stay on with no problem.

These shoes in grey are adorable. I have gotten a ton of compliments. They are a full size larger than marked. I usually wear a women's 9 and I got an 8 and they fit well both with and without socks. I also ordered the chocolate brown but I returned them because the color is too faded and it looked too close to the grey.

Zappos...where were you all my life -
This was my first time buying online from Zappos, and I must say...I ordered yesterday...and I received the Converse TODAY...next day Fed Ex overnight for FREE??!?! A big high five to Zappos for that! Any who, these All Star Slips are a real head turner; I plan on wearing these on my cruises around town. I usually wear a size 10 in men’s but after doing much research I decided to order a size 9 in Converse sizes because we all know how their own sizing of shoes are way off. A full size down for me was PERFECT! Comfy, stylish and I'm happy with the whole process of ordering these from Zappos.com. I think I even ordered the last pair of size 9 for men’s in black color ha ha! :]
Tips: For men’s, downsize a FULL length. You won't be scrambling with returns over and over again trying to get the right size.

I'm pleased with the shoe. Easy on/easy off. Comfortable to wear. It's a nice causal sneaker to walk around in. I enjoy not having laces.

I love the look of the shoe. I usually wear a size 7.5, so I ordered that-WAY too big. Got a 7-still a little big. Got a 6.5-MUCH smaller than the 7 surprisingly. They squeeze my feet, but I’m hoping that after they wear in a bit they'll be fine. Hoping... They're super cute, though!

Oh so cool -
This shoe fit me an entire size larger then marked. So I sent back the first pair and got a 4 (6 women - I actually wear a 7 women’s). Now it fits great. Looks awesome. Very summer time fun. Walked all day the first day I got them and were comfortable the whole time. No arch support - but sandals don't have any either.

50% as costly, 80% as cool -
There's a $90 Converse shoe that is very similar to this one, only it has frayed edges and more arch support (I've heard). This one is comfortable enough for me, and, if I really want the frayed edges, I'll just take a cheese grater to it. Ha-ha!

I love this shoe because the bottom is also black, unlike many of these that have white toe and bottom. Because of the solid color they can be worn as a "dressier" shoe. Just getting out of a cast, I still can't wear many shoes and these fit the bill for many recent occasions. Best of all is the very RAPID shipping – 2 days to North Dakota, unheard of. They met me at my cousins and I was able to wear them to a scheduled event. Thanks Zappos.com for your style, fit, quality, and SERVICE.

A hip shoe -
Got it because: grandson has a pair and I just had hip surgery and wanted a slip on. The shoe opening is a little less firm than I hoped, but not impossible for slipping on with a shoe horn.

Ok, look...You need to buy these 1.5 to 2 sizes smaller. Luckily I knew this because I have worn all-stars for awhile. I wear an 11 men’s or 10.5 men’s. I bought the slips in a 9 and they fit well, and I still have a little room in them. Without socks I got blisters on my toe, with socks is fine. Easy to slip on and off yet stay surprisingly snug on the foot. Don't wear these if you will be on your feet walking a lot. I wear then when I know I will be lounging or doing little activity. REMEMBER 1.5-2 sizes down! Oh and I ordered with the free shipping and they upgraded me to overnight shipping so I got them in 24hrs. Wow. Talk about superb service.

Casual rocker -
I really like the look of this shoe. I got the all-black color way, and they definitely say "rocker." Follow the recommendation to go a full size smaller though. I haven't worn a pair of chucks for 22 years, and I was a bit surprised at how narrow they are in the toe area. I have a narrow foot, and still had some rubbing issues on my little toe on both feet for the first few sessions. As far as support goes, they are Chuck Taylors, so don't expect much. Not bad for a day at work or a night out, but I wouldn't like to have to walk 5 miles in them.

Great shoe, but a 1/2 size smaller than normal size!
I bought these for my husband. He had the black set and loved them so much I purchased the brown. Very comfortable, but you must buy them half a size smaller than your normal size. Would definitely recommend this style.

Cute but no support -
Love the look of the classic Chucks with no laces. It's nice to slip on your shoes and go! These shoes run a full size larger. I wear a size 9 but I had to return them and re-order a size 8 and they fit perfect. I would recommend getting some insoles because there is no arch support and it can hurt your feet.

I love these shoes but I had to send them back twice to get the size right. I wear an 8 and ended up getting a 7. I love Zappos though and with the free shipping it was nice.

I love the slip - it's my favorite casual walking around shoe. Stylish, but comfortable and no dirty icky laces. Just a note: I ordered the Varvatos in Oil and had to exchange it because it was navy blue, not the dark gray that it appeared to be - just as an FYI.

These shoes are great, I love them. One note - after 3 tries with sizes (thank goodness for Zappos free returns), I ended up with a full size smaller then I normally take.
