Very comfortable, good looking shoe. Only time will tell how well they wear, but I am encouraged by the construction of these shoes and Allen Edmonds reputation for quality. Important Point: When you buy loafers, purchase one-half size smaller than what you ordinarily wear. Otherwise, they will flop around on your feet as they stretch-out over time.

Beautiful shoes with the high quality you expect from Allen Edmonds. Perfect fit and great style. Given the heavy leather soles, these will take a while to break in.

Lefty loosey, righty tighty -
This is my second pair and I loved the first. This time, the left and right shoes were significantly different in fit (left MUCH looser than right though length was the same). As these are relatively expensive shoes, I was somewhat disappointed. The look and quality (except for the left one sometimes falling off) are great.

This is the first time I've treated myself to premium loafer and the reward is great; perfect fit and no blister/band aid/ouch break in period. They were comfortable from day one.

A great shoe -
Fits well; I have a narrow foot that is hard to fit. Size was true to advertised. I have several Allen-Edmonds shoes--a quality product.

Nice Shoe -
I bought these also for my husband at Christmas. They replace a very durable but out-of-date pair of Florsheim's. He isn't as crazy about these as he is about his Maxfields but we're not sending them back. I think it's a nice looking shoe (but of course, I picked it out) and he's adjusting to the fact that he needs to update his look. I think the more he wears them the more he'll like them.

Quality & Consistency -
Finding a show that is both qualities enough to withstand continual wear, particularly in a vastly changing climate is difficult enough. But, to find one that will meet those demands and reflect consistency of "last" is rare. Allen Edmonds does maintain those qualities which I've come to depend upon.

Good fit-
I have a "B" width and this shoe fits perfectly. Sometimes a shoe will say it's a B width, but the heel will not be narrow. This shoe, however, is a good fit.

The Allen Edmond Stowe was a very good buy. Zappos is one place where high quality wide shoes can be found. The comfort of the shoe is exceptionally good. Will buy more Allen Edmond shoes.

Allen-Edmonds's Stowe -
These are very comfortable shoes. Unlike most new shoes, there is no "breaking in" period. They are perfect from the first time I wore them.

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
