Tight fit on these, however, it's great for hiking. No wearing-in necessary. Great feel first time out. Went hiking several days in a row 5+ miles everytime out, no wear-in period on the boots and felt great. Warm boots and truly water-proof. Walked through several creeks with no water getting through the boots. Would definitely buy another pair. Had a paid of Columbia hiking shoes in the past and enjoyed the same great fit.

Purchased these for my boyfriend who works outside on ladders most of the day. He has now worn them for 3 days and can hardly believe how comfortable they are. They are very lightweight and flexible; it feels like he is wearing tennis shoes except that his feet stay warm and dry. There was no need to break them in; they fit perfectly right out of the box.
