I was happy with fit, comfort and color but the pair I received was torn slightly near the top lace hole. I think it was exacerbated by a design flaw that allows the lacing area to buckle when you tie up to the top grommets.

I have been searching for a waterproof breathable shoe/boot for a while when I came across these. They are not stiff hiking boot - the fabric gives and flexes quite a bit, so I think of them as more like a sneaker. This is fine for me because they fit my wide foot without pinching anywhere. Alone they are not as supportive as I would like, but I added SuperFeet insoles and that seemed to give them the extra arch and overall support I need. I have not tested the waterproofness of them yet, but am hoping they will keep me dry. I would not use these shoes for hiking, but for walking the dogs in the rain and slush, taking them to the park, and general walking around town in wet conditions, they should be fine. If they are in fact waterproof, I will probably get another pair in the grey color.
