I love these shoes! I had a pair before of the same model, that I had fitted in a store. They are very durable, and are great for the kind of activity I do, which is cross training in a gym with a little running.

Great shoe. No need to break in these shoe; just put on and go. Great fit. I tried these after having a defective pair of Nike Max 09. I will definitely buy another pair.

This is my 4th pair of Asics Gel-Kayano; they are remarkable shoes. I am not a runner but walk 3 miles every day. I have narrow feet and wear a size 8 so I wear "fat" socks in these. I have lower back problems, pronate, and have foot pain and this shoe has worked the best for me. The only problems I have had with this shoe is my big toe nail goes through the fabric on the top of the shoe long before I wear the bottoms out (that's why I gave it a 4 stars overall). Other than that, this shoe rocks.

Asics Gel Kayanos are the best shoes on the market. This is my 5th pair and they are no exception. Great quality, great styling and I have no complaints at all. The best features of this shoe are the stability for the ankle, Achilles tendon and the molding of the inner sole. I feel completely stable in these for running and cross-training.

I have been wearing Asics Gel Kayano running shoes since the 11th edition. The 15 edition is a little different with the way it laces at the toe, but they seemed actually to fit me better than the other models. The inside design is fun! I love them and will keep ordering them from Zappos because I can't just go into a store and get a 10.5 wide off the shelf! I can't say enough good things about Zappos and delivery is so quick and easy to return if a shoe doesn't fit. Thank you!

I bought the Kayano 13 on clearance at a Sporting Goods store about a year and a half ago and it was time for new shoes! I ordered several with motion control and for my foot you just can't beat the footbed of this shoe. Yes, it is expensive, but my knees and shins are thanking me already after only 1 week in the new shoes. I'm an Asics convert now, for sure. Also, this shoe looks nicer on the foot than the 13; it has a slimmer appearance and is sporty without looking like something you walk on the moon in.

I bought these for fitness walking and some occasional running. They are without doubt the most perfect running shoes that I have ever had on my feet. The fit is true, the cushioning and support a perfect balance. I have a wide, high arched foot, measured as a 9 & 1/2 wide. The 10 D is an exact fit.

I adore these sneakers. By far they have the best padding and support inside than any other sneaker I have ever worn. I am able to use my orthotics due to an old stress fracture and can go for miles daily without any flareups. The sneaker is light in weight, keep your feet cool, is nice and wide in the toe box and long in the length. Almost the perfect sneaker. My only complaint is that because of the way that I run/walk, my toe (big one) will eventually poke through the netting. I resolved this issue by placing a small piece of heavy duct tape on the underside of where my toe would strike. I'm sure it's my gait and probably not the sneaker.

I am not much of a runner so I usually buy cross-trainers, but I have never been very comfortable in them because I over-pronate badly. These are so bouncy comfortable! I am thrilled with the purchase even though they will mainly be used for walking and short jogging, not distance running. They are super-comfortable and supportive, which did not seem possible.

Love the shoes, the best price I could find. My only wish is that the arch support was better. It is made for a normal arch, I have high arches. I would recommend the shoe to any runner, and Zappos is great as well, can't go wrong. Previously ran in the the Asics Gel Cumulus and after just a couple runs I think I'm going to like these just as much. Really light, super comfortable, it's hard to take them off after my run.

First time with Asics brand. Love them so far! Just started running and working out hard last year, professionally fit for me the Mizuno Nirvana 4. Wore them for year 1 and loved them. A little boxy in front foot, i.e. too much room. The Asics feel better so far, a little more hug to your foot. I personally like that feel. Inspired with new purchase that I had to run outside, first time in 6 months due to bad knee. Felt great!

I bought a similar Asics pair at a local store, but the regular width was too narrow, although I do not normally wear a wide. I bought these on Zappos, the fit is perfect, and I've run a successful half-marathon.

I love the Asics Kayano shoe. I've been wearing this brand/style for years. This updated style is cute. The lacing system works well. As a busy working Mom, where else can you order a pair of shoes online, get them the next day, and with free shipping? Zappos, thanks for making my life easier.

Great gym shoe. Lightweight, heel runs narrower so it does not slip, order up a size. With the asymmetrical lacing the shoe is tighter in the middle (arch area) and it keeps your foot from sliding forward. Washed in the washer and set out to dry; looked and felt like new.

Love this shoe. I wasn't happy that they changed the style so much. I was worried that they wouldn't be as comfortable as the the 14s. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are every bit as good as the 14s. No break-in time needed for me. I do have a narrow foot so I replaced the insole with a higher quality one. Many reviewers say it runs a half size small, but I found it runs true to size. I bought the pink and love how not only are they comfortable and perform well, but are also stylish. Now that I have worn them for a couple of weeks, I like the new design and feel that the cross strap on top of the toe box will help the shoe hold up better, especially since I have a narrow foot.

These are my sixth pair of Kayanos and by far the most comfortable. I have flat feet and they provide much needed support and stability. I’m a runner and a walker and they’re great for both. I have the Kayano 14s and they run at least a half size smaller than the 15s. Also, the 14s have given me blisters probably because they are too small to wear my Thorlo Lite socks. I will buy another pair before they discontinue them.

These are very comfortable running shoes. Not as comfortable as the Kayano 14, those felt like you were walking on clouds. Feels like the support isn't as good but still a nice shoe.

Great running shoe!
This shoe is a fantastic runner. They are light and comfortable and easy to wear. I can't think of one thing that I don't like about them. They are perfect and will be my "go to" shoe when I need my next pair which will be in about 300 more miles.

The Kayano is a great running shoe that I’ve used consistently since I increased my mileage four years ago. I’m a slight overpronator, and selected Kayano because it has more cushioning than the 2100-whatever-number-it-is-now series of Asics shoe. I find it worth the extra cost for reducing wear and tear on my joints. I trained for and ran a marathon in Kayanos, and I’ve done any number of half marathons, 10-milers, and shorter races in them as well. This generation of Kayanos looks a bit different from previous ones, most notably the slanted tongue area. I was apprehensive at first - I hate it when they change things - but I have not found any difference in fit or performance – I’m as pleased as ever. It has a roomy toebox and good ankle support – I’ve always just been able to put them on my feet and go, and not think about them again other than lacing adjustments. These shoes continue to get lighter over the years - but understand it is a substantial shoe because of the support and cushioning it provides. I race in them because I train in them. The shoe is a Cadillac, not a Ferrari - but comfort is just what I need for long road trips and to get where I want to go. Buy a half size larger than your normal shoe size.

Great shoes. Every morning when I got up my heels would ache from the previous day's workout. Since getting these shoes the pain is gone. They're not the most attractive tennis shoe I've worn, but I'll take pain free over style anytime.

Switch to narrow. I'm normally a medium width but had tried this shoe on at a nearby sporting goods store. The toe box was so large and the thought of a thicker sock, well. The wide toe box just won't do for any type of aerobics, you'd be sliding all over. Zappos came through once again, and carry the narrow width. Wore them for a step aerobic workout right out of the box. Perfect! Thanks Zappos!

I was very disappointed in these shoes. I have been buying Gel-Kayano for a long time now and have loved them. This model, however, seems inferior to the previous ones. It doesn\'t feel as cushy and the back seems to come up higher making the fit uncomfortable. Also, I hate the new style. It looks fraudulently "stylish", imo. I don\'t need my exercise shoes to be fashionable. The swirl looks ridiculous. Every time I look down at it, I want to take the shoes off. Please tell Asics to go back to the B"asics".

I did not keep these shoes because the tongue was short and rubbed against the front of my ankle. U went back to the Kayano 14s because they are just as comfortable for running. The side lacing did not make that much of a difference.
