I\'ve got large feet (mens 14), and no arches. These shoes give me the best comfort during my longer runs, and keep going at high mileage points. I\'ve used the Kayano off and on over the past few years, and yes, I can tell you, the price is worth it. When you finish your first half marathon in these guys, you will be happy for all the little features in them. my feet have been much less beat up since I switched over from a recent pair of salomans to these guys.

Asics, my new 12 EEEE shoe. This is my fifth pair. After 15 years of only NB in EEEE, I, or we, who have wide feet have what I think is a better choice. I love these.

Overall, an excellent shoe. The price was high, but I would say it was worth the money. The shoe also runs a bit narrow so if you normally wear a medium with like me, you will want to buy the 2E width. This was my first time with a Kayano. I always used to wear the 2000 series of shoes, and was quite happy with the switch although these cost me about $40 more. The cushioning was better in these with the huge gel unit in the heel and forefoot. The overpronation control has been very good too, and I haven\'t had any pain since I began wearing these. They are a tad heavy, but not enough to make much of any difference for me. I have had them for just about a month now, and have put quite a few miles on them, and had no durability issues. The mesh on top is rather thin, which is good, however i\'m unsure how long it will go without ripping, but so far, so good.\r\n\r\nAnd as always, Zappos provides excellent service. I ordered them late on a Monday night and had them on my feet before noon Friday.

I ran my old running shoes to the ground so I bought a new pair. What can I say? These shoes are wonderful. I run 45 to 50 miles a week and so far within the past month these shoes have done me good. Everything else is aesthetic.

Within a week the "gel" started coming off in chunks. They are usable, but really for this price I expect quality standards. Not particularly comfortable at first, takes about 2 days for me anyway to break them in. Still not what I was hoping for. I don't feel the cushioning that I wanted from the Gel. I work in NYC and do a lot of urban jungle walking and am a big guy. I need some give in the shoe to take the shock off; this is not it. Also ugly as sin. Any amount of rain and your feet are soaked.

I love these running shoes! I’ve been training for a marathon all summer, and they’ve held up extremely well. They have a great balance between cushion and support. I’ve just purchased my second pair to wear during race day. As always, Zappos was easy and extremely fast. Great shoes, great service.

This is the 3rd time I have ordered Asics from Zappos and I have yet to be disappointed. I take the shoes out of the box, put them on and go jogging, no break-in, they are ready to run and extremely comfortable. Ordering, shipping delivery is painless. I am ready to buy my next pair.

I always use Sorbothane insoles in my shoes, so my comments may be somewhat skewed. Nevertheless, I am MOST impressed with this product. In fact, I never give these shoes a second thought while I run. In my opinion, that in itself is a 5 star endorsment. The fact that one can enjoy a run with absolutely no consideration of his shoes is in my opinion outstanding.

Softest, and least supportive to date. Disappointed, and do not care for the new lacing pattern. Guess I have a new pair of walking shoes, as I cannot see running in these.

I\'ve worn the different versions of the Kayano for the past 4 years. This pair, like the others, were comfortable right out of the box. Great for daily trainer and long distance racer. Only difference I noticed is they are breaking down faster than previous version. I\'m a 165 lb and 30 miles per week runner. These should go 500+ miles with me. I like them and will pay the price for the known comfort and fit.

A great running or fitness shoe. I use it primarily for walking on the treadmill and for use on the elliptical machine. Very good cushioning and I had no break in time. I got 2E width because of the reviews, and I am glad I did. I don't think the durability will be an issue for me as I am not hard on shoes. These replaced a pair of Gel-Kayano 11's I used strictly for exercise and they lasted 4+ years.The best thing about these shoes is the fantastic Zappos service. Ordered them around noon and they arrived the next day! The Zappos customer service is absolutely the best. I never buy shoes anywhere else!

This is a great shoe and the support is unbelievable! I'm a big guy, and these are great. I am very pleased with the shoe and will buy again. I've had them for two months, and have put about 100 miles in them. They are still great!

These were my 3rd pair of Asics Kayanos and they\'ve never disappointed. Extremely comfortable and very good fit. My only complaint with this shoe is that I had a little too much room in the heel box when running. There was some very minor sliding going on in there. I\'ve tried all kinds of lacing techniques to minimize it, but to no avail. I didn\'t think I had overly small feet (or heel for that matter). Admittedly, I only put 10-15 miles a week on these, which may be a factor.

I've been a devoted Keyano runner for ten years, however, I have had problems with the Keyano 15. The Asymetric lacing at the toe end of the shoe tends to close down the toe cavity. I was heading towards loosing my big toenail (which has never happened before) until I re-laced without putting the lace through the toe end hole. If anyone else is having this trouble, you could try the same. I really think ASIC need to rethink this design !!

I've always loved the Gel Kayano, but the 15 breaks down way too fast. I run 20+ miles a week and I can usually wear a pair of Kayanos for running about six months. These barely made it two!! In fact my last pair of 14's that I've had for more than 9 months now have more left in them than these do. The 15s are great out of the box but beware the fast breakdown.

Like nearly all of the other reviewers on this shoe, I loved the comfort and fit of the Kayano 15's right out of the box. The new lacing design was a little radical but it really does enhance the fit. HOWEVER, I'd like to hear back from some of those reviewers after the miles have racked up on their Kayanos? I run 40-50 miles a week and have never had a problem getting 450+ miles out of Kayanos before the outsole wears through. My Kayano 15's have worn completely through on the heel after only 258 miles! Anyone else experiencing durability problems? At this high price, I'm going to look for another brand/model, Asics needs to address this. Also, what's up with the lame color choices this year?

Asics Kayano 15 -
Overall, this is a pretty good shoe for me. The fit is nice, and I don't really have any problems with them. The downside is that I had higher expectations. I am an avid runner, but not a fanatic. I just want to be comfortable, and over the years I have gotten lucky with a couple pairs of shoes that really felt great. These are not bad, and the fit is great, but they're not much more comfortable than shoes I've had costing much less.

Best fit ever -
I'm a power walker, not a runner. But that doesn't mean I don't want a good fitting shoe. The new Kayano fits better and supports more than any shoe I've had. I did have a problem with a hole in the heel lining, which prompted a replacement of the shoes. Otherwise perfect.

I first purchased men's casual shoes from Zappos. If you would like the same feel in a men's everyday casual, comparable to the ASICS GEL, then order the Rockport Tawneys with the DMX; it's like walking on a cushion of air. I have had mine for 6 months now and hope to get another 6 months out of them before the heels wear down. After reading the leading running magazine reviews from this year and last. Narrowed my running shoe search down to three choices and found the ASICS GEL Nimbus, Brooks GTS 9, and ASICS Kayano 15. Tried all three at a local store but the ASICS Kayano 15 came in US 10.5 2E (Width). A running should fit right when you first wear them. No break-in period is required. Went with the Kayano 15.

ASICS's Gel-Kayano® 15 Review -
This is a GREAT pair of shoes. I am a large runner 230 lbs and I log 30 miles a week at a 8:20 pace. I have been running in ASICS 2130 with great results for well over a year. I wanted to try something different so I bit the bullet and spent $150.00. Frankly there is a difference and the Keyano 15 is a better shoe however it is hard for me to justify the additional $40-50.00. The shoe feels good there is more cushion and the stability is there however the price???

Another Great Pair of ASICS!
First of all, I want to compliment Zappos on their fast service. They got here in less than 24 hrs. The shoes felt great right out of the box! Over the years, ASICS has always been my favorite casual shoes. (I don't use them for running). They are very comfortable and are made so that they don't slip on slippery surfaces. From past experience, I ordered these 1/2 size larger than I normally wear, and they fit perfectly.

A break from my norm...
I bought Nike shoes for years, the Equalon+ have been good servants to me! Unfortunately, the last pair I bought (Equalon +3), I had to return 2 different pairs due to faults in the shoes. They were comfortable, just didn't hold up very well. So I moved to these and so far I am impressed. They are relatively comfortable and lightweight and seem sturdier than the Nike (although after one run my Achilles were really hurting, but I think that might be my body not the shoes, as it didn't happen on the following run a few days later).

There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny!
