Any Salomon shoes fit me great. They are supportive and I can do anything in them including jog (when I really want to mix up my work out). I also really like the way they look.

Have been to 4 sports stores & had 11 pairs of shoes shipped from Zappos in the last 2 weeks, looking for a perfect fit in a water-proof light hiking/trail shoe. These are the winners! Love at first slip-on! First, they're cute! The heels are amply cushioned & arches are well-supported. The part I've had the most trouble with in other shoes, the space in the front of the foot, works. There's plenty of room, but it doesn't hang; they're comfortable & if my foot swelled during a long day, they could still fit & be comfortable. There's the perfect amount of room in front of the toe. The lacing-pull system (like the liner of a snowboard boot) is quick & easy to use. I read the other reviews & ordered a half-size smaller and they are perfect. Yay for Salomons! I now have my brand for this sort of activity for future purchases!

I will wear no other shoes for hiking, running and to the gym. They are so comfortable and supportive, love the no laces!

Love Salomon shoes. This would have been my 4th pair. Unfortunately, I will be returning them because they are way too big. I keep forgetting that Salomon shoes run one size larger. I'm a 6.5 in all of my shoes except Salomon. In fact, another of my Salomon shoes are a 4.5, but I'm hoping that was just because I bought them in another part of the world. Can't check the other pairs either as I keep them in another location. I'm also not in love with the green, too bright for me. I'm sure it's a great shoe in the correct fit/size, but I'm going ahead with the Exit Peak Mid GTX.

These really are out of the box comfortable. They do run somewhat large; there is plenty of room in the toe box to accommodate my small bunions with Smart Wool Socks! I love how easy they are to put on and take off with the quick lace system; that is awesome! And they keep my feet dry & warm in the very wet and chilly mornings. They are sturdy and I expect to have them for awhile. Very pleased with these Salomon shoes! What I mean by large, my last walking shoes were sized up to 8.5 so I ordered this size but sent back and ordered an 8; probably could have gotten by with a 7.5 but am very happy with these shoes. They are everything I wanted.

The size (length) is good. Maybe a quarter of a size larger than normal. The width is normal. The toe box is roomy. I was worried about the lacing system digging into my big toe, but I can't even feel it. The lacing system has a learning curve. It's a brilliant idea, but not intuitive. A little "How To" diagram wouldn't be a waste. The comfort level is very good. I did a quick 2 mile walk, straight from the box, no socks. No blisters. There was friction below my ankles and on the back of my heel. This was due to looseness in the heel, which was due to not being laced properly. The color in the product photo (green) is very accurate. The style is nicer in real life. They look more interesting than hiking boots, but less silly than most sneakers.

I was looking for a good waterproof trail shoe, and ordered several to try. This one had many features I wanted, so I gave it a shot. It actually felt really good in the heel, and I loved the lacing system, but it was just too small in the toe box for my wide feet. For someone without wide feet, this would be a great shoe. Stable, yet light, nice simple lacing system and non-slip serious grip soles. If this came in a wide, it'd be the choice, but I think I'll go with the North Face Ultra 104s because of their unique wide lacing system which gives more play in the toe area. Checking out one or two more pair, but these, just weren't for me.

 |  | I want you to know how pleased I am that my dad received his shoes so quickly! He got them today. I am amazed! He is a patient at the VA hospital in Denver. He is a WWll combat veteran who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. Recently, he was taken to the VA hospital because no one at his present home could care for him. He was sick, malnourished, and to add insult to injury, could not use his prosthetic leg because it caused a sore on his amputated stump. To shorten a long story, he had no shoes with him with which to begin learning to use his new prosthesis. I ordered them Saturday as soon as I hung up talking with him and he received them today. Now he can begin the long journey to regain his stride and health. He will be returning to the east coast of Virginia to be with family.
