The Joanne is a stylish shoe from Born and very comfortable. I recommend this shoe for walking around, or for wearing for long periods of time. One caveat: the shoe runs one half size large. I got the 8 and it was big. I wore the shoe for an afternoon of shopping, the shoe stretched a little which made it even bigger! Since I couldn't return a pair of worn shoes I gave them to my sister and she LOVES them. Problem solved.

I love the look of these shoes! I love how they hug my feet. However, I'm sad to say that in the end, there isn't a lot of support and cushioning. I adore how they look on my feet, but not what they do to my feet, which is sad because they are a little pricey.

Fantastic shoes! Super comfy! I bought these for a trip to Europe; I wanted comfortable walking shoes. I had no issues with them. They were great, even on cobblestones.

I am very pleased with these shoes! They did not need to be broken in and are very comfortable right out of the box. These provide good cushioning and support for normal feet. The opening is a bit small but the shoes provide a nice amount of toe room (allowing for thicker socks if you want) and do not rub anywhere.

These shoes are the best purchase I have ever made. They are so comfortable for walking long distances and my foot feels like it’s wrapped in clouds. I have a heel spur and when I’m wearing these shoes, it doesn’t bother me a bit. Lots of support in them and they look so cute, the top of the shoe looks almost like a boot. If you have any type of foot pain I strongly recommend these shoes, they are worth every penny.

I've been looking for a shoe like these for a long time. Black leather, with a not too rounded, not too pointy toe shoe that slips on with out a lot of adornment. These shoes are so comfortable too. You can wear them with dress pants or jeans or even lounge pants. No need to break in, I never felt any rubbing whatsoever, and they are true to size. These are my first Born shoes and I am in love with the brand now. Total quality in workmanship. Remind me slightly of the care put into Frye shoes. If this style appeals to you don't hesitate to purchase, they will last forever.

I love Born shoes and thought these looked great. Usually Born shoes are very comfortable for me, but these were particularly narrow. I wear a B/medium width, but I had to return these because I couldn't get them on, even with very thin socks. It won't keep me from buying other Born shoes, but they were quite narrow and uncomfortable for me.

Finally! Found a nice looking comfortable shoe that fits. I have a hard time finding shoes to fit as I have high arches and a somewhat narrow foot. The elastic under the tongue of the shoe is not too tight as it is with most loafers of this type due to my high arch, but just enough to keep the shoe on. Fit is true to size with a good amount of room in toebox. This shoe has a bootlike look and looks great with jeans.

Every order I have placed with Zappos has been a good experience. Many times you upgrade the shipping on your own and I have the item overnight (as occurred with an order I placed yesterday - the item is out for delivery already!)
