This boot does run big by probably a half size, just as the other reviewers have stated. I didn't care for them anyway, too slick (very shiny leather) and kind of uptown looking; I need something more everyday and relaxed. For some reason (the buckle?) they look cheap to me despite the fact that they are an expensive boot.

Loved the shoes. The style and quality of leather are great, will hold the shape. It does run a little big, but feels comfortable. The heel is just right, good for walking. The leather is not soft, and rubs against the leg above the ankle. I would keep them, however, there was a little defect with the stitching and for such a price it's unacceptable. I would try half size less, but have a suspicion that this defect is not just a quality issue with this pair, but a design flaw.

This boot is nice looking and has a very retro appeal to it. However, I\'d have to say it runs big. I am a standard size 7, sometimes a 7.5, but this seemed at least a half size too big even with socks on (I bought the 7). The toe part is very long - at least an inch of boot reached out past my toes. From what I could tell in just trying them on, seemed like they\'d be comfortable. Returning and considering trying in a smaller size.
