This new version/upgrade (11) of the Saucony Hurricane seems to have all of the same benefits that I need (strong arch support and overall sturdiness). I bought two pair this time through Zappos and I'm alternating them to extend their life as long as I can. I also shopped locally (and even ordered them through a local vendor; when they arrived they were the wrong size and more money than Zappos). Big fan of Zappos and based on my foot and running, this is the best support shoe for me.

This shoe is just great! It fits wonderfully. I only buy Saucony now since the fit is perfect for me. No rubbing or tight spots and the heel is not loose. It is very, very comfortable and supports and cushions the foot quite well. All in all, it is a wonderful shoe!

I used these shoes to run my first marathon. I trained in another pair of Saucony shoes for the summer and purchased these a month before the event. I broke them in on shorter runs and throughout the taper period. These are very comfortable shoes that feel right on my feet from the first instant I put them on my feet. Every Saucony shoe has felt that way. The only real variance in Saucony shoes are the the tongue area and also whether they fit tight or loose. These shoes ride pretty loose, for me. I wear an extra wide EE width, so it's surprising when I find a shoe that's too roomy! I will say that I did sustain an injury on the marathon run. The top of my left foot has strained muscles all along the top. The foot is swollen and painful more than a week after the event. I'm not blaming the shoes for the injury. I do wonder if the loose fit might have been a factor in injuring my foot. There are so many factors involved in running such a long distance. It's hard to say. All in all I would say these shoes are very good, but I've liked other styles better.

The Hurricane 11 from Saucony is amazing - I have been running in the Hurricane since the Hurricane 7 and this is by far the best one ever! It has more cushioning in both the heel and forefoot and seems very stable as well. The fit is great - I would definitely recommend this shoe! Thanks Saucony!!!

 |  | I just want to thank you, and commend the customer service staff at Zappos. I just couldn't believe it when you actually kept me abreast of the certain pair of shoes I was looking for! Having a size 4- 1/2 foot, is very hard finding shoes. I could wear certain kinds of shoes such as boots, clogs, etc…but having to wear 3 heavy pairs of socks in order for them to fit! Well, they fit, but my feet kill me! Clogs such as the ones I purchased, seem to be more comfortable. I'm just hoping that they're not too big for me. I can’t wait to get them and see!
