Outstanding Upscale Casual Shoe -
Classic Rockport - soft & broken in out of the box - quality made. As comfortable & light as any shoe could be! I personally would not wear these with a suit, but are excellent with Dockers style pants. A dressed up casual of sorts. Dockers, even jeans. Margin has been around awhile, Rockport, do not stop making this. Highly recommend.

This is a great shoe for comfort and for wear if you have back issues. It would accommodate an insole if needed. I purchased the Nubuck which has a great look--have not tried the smooth finishes.

I have narrow feet and it's hard to find shoes. This one works really well though, as it is a rare reasonably priced shoe that comes in all widths! It can look casual or dressy and has a comfortable rubber soul. Be careful though, a friend of mine scuffed his pretty badly by sitting on a concrete step.

Wide could be wider -
Great shoe. However, if you have wide feet like I do, it's often confusing whether to select EE or EEE or EEEE widths. For this shoe, the EE width still fits too snugly. I wish I had selected a wider width. Right now, I'm suffering with some discomfort until they settle in.

I have wide feet and use an orthotic. I found this shoe was good looking, extra wide, and fits my orthotic. It is just great. I am very, very pleased and bought them in black and brown.

I recently purchased a pair of Rockport Margins and I could not be more pleased. I am wearing them today. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I spend my days either behind a desk or on the pavement of the car lot and these shoes make it pleasurable for both.

COMFORTABLE Dress Shoe -
Very attractive shoe. Felt comfortable right out of the box. Because of the toe design, if felt a little longer than its size. Width was perfect.

Excellent Shoe, Rockport Comfort and Look -
Great looking shoe and comfortable feel. Good for a typical commuter walk, but I did feel some foot fatigue after walking for more than just casually (30 + minutes). But not to the point to where it was sore and painful - just a 'tired foot'. Arch support is moderate, and is probably the reason why. But for every day work shoe use, it is a wonderful shoe and highly recommended.

Good value for the price -
I am fully satisfied with the purchase. The leather is not Rockport's highest grade in texture and surface. The same of the sole. But the shoe is sturdy and very well constructed. In essentials it is first rate. Some trade-off in appearance for the lower price.

Margins are a very good shoe but a bit pricey for what you get. They're comfy as far as dress shoes go. I like how they look.

PRETTY GOOD!
I am used to wearing Ecco shoes, but my previous model was discontinued. I was looking for a less expensive alternative and found it in the Rockport Margin. It is pretty comfortable, though the toe box seems a little narrow. The look is simple and clean, but a little plain. Overall, these are a nice alternative for a little more than half the price of an Ecco.

I work in an office and sometimes in the field and these shoes work very well in both settings. I have had them about 2-3 weeks now and they are holding up pretty well. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase.

One right, one wrong -
I have the brown Margins. The shoes are comfortable to walk in as far as cushion, but the leather looks cheap and my right shoe seems to be a size wider than the left and no, it's not my feet. Another pair of Rockport narrow that I also purchase fit perfect. The first time I have ever bought shoes to actually fit my long narrow feet.

Good all around shoe -
I like the look of the shoe and the feel, it scuffs a little too easy for me, but it should take a shine nice, too. Feels good, I'm on my feet for 10-12 hours a day and still feel good at the end of it. Like the shoe and have no complaints.

Squeaks after a year.
After wearing these shoes 3 days a week in a sitting job for 18 months, the shoes developed an embarrassing squeak. The sound was like rubber rubbing rubber. I replace insoles, but that did not help. It was internal to the actual sole of the shoe. I cannot wear them any more because everyone turns and looks at me when I walk.

I actually need a 10E shoe. It doesn't seem like oxfords come in that size-choices are D and EE--it feels like it fits so it is probably a little narrower than published. Feels comfortable, and I plan to buy several pairs for spares. I've used Rockports for 18 years.

Great shoes for me!
I was looking for a nice pair of shoes I can wear to work, that would be comfortable with "squishy" bottoms rather than leather. These are perfect. Great fit, day-long comfort, good looks. I bought a second pair in another color because I like them so much.
