I have always loved Frye boots and these are wonderful. Fabulous distressed grey color. Comfortable from the first wear. Fit true to size. Heel is a bit wide for me but I do have narrow heels. Wonderful boot with the traditional Frye look but updated styling.

Could not love these boots any more. They were comfortable from the first day I got them. The leather is soft and gorgeous! They fit true to size and I get compliments every time I wear them. Zappos rocks!

Dare I say as comfortable as my Ugg boots, but better looking. This boot has a great distressed/pebbly leather and feel instantly cozy on the foot, and I presume will become even more comfortable with wear. I usually wear an 8 in close toed shoes (7-7.5 in sandals), but ordered these in a 7.5 and they fit perfect. I think an 8 would have left too much room around the heel/ankle. I have extremely narrow feet; someone with a wider foot might need their true size. And of course Zappos is beyond amazing. Ordered late Tuesday night and received Thursday early afternoon.

This is the boot I\'ve been waiting for! The light tan is evenly colored and has a somewhat pebbly texture. To my eye, it\'s darker than light tan. In my normal size, the boot was too large; heel slipped too much, and the foot creased in the wrong place. In 1/2 size smaller, bingo! The heel slips slightly the way a boot heel should. It\'s soft, lined, beautifully made, and comfortable right out of the box. One caution: I have a high instep, and it took some pulling to get my foot into the boot. Once in, my feet were in boot heaven. I heartily recommend these and am considering purchasing another pair in another color.

 |  | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the “dig deeper” sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness.
