Mine are extremely comfortable and have been very durable. Best of all, they match my boat.

I have bought quite a few pairs of shoes on Zappos and this is the first pair I had to return. They look absolutely amazing, but the construction of the shoes leaves something to be desired. I could have gotten a bad pair, but noticed that the front end of the shoe is poorly constructed and caused a nice bloody toe after a 12 mile run.

I'll admit that I bought these shoes based on looks, and they do look good. I'll give them that, but they are very thin and lightweight. They are more designed for the serious runner. I run 2 miles a couple times per week and I feel fine wearing these shoes (no knee, foot, or back pain), but when I exercise indoors (specifically kickboxing and other high intensity gym activities) I get pain in my arches. I've never had this issue with any other shoes. Anyway, I hope this helps. To give you perspective of who is writing this, I'm a very active male, 28 years old, 6 ft tall, 180 lbs.

I have to say, I have always LOVED the comfort & support of Pearl Izumi’s. I'm a nurse & work 12 hour shifts. Got this at noon & wore it for 12 hours that night, no break-in required. I do use an insert & they fit nicely under these liners. I'm not so crazy about the looks but I get compliments ALL THE TIME when I wear this brand. Also important is the wonderful heel support, best of all I've tried.
