These boots are awesome! I just love the fit. I am a true size 7 and these boots fit like a glove. They are very stylish yet rugged. The heel is comfortable enough to wear all day. The rubber bottoms keep the boots quiet on floors. They look cool with jeans and look dynamite with a skirt. Born has done it again!

I wanted so badly for these boots to look good on me. They look great online, and just as good in person. But, as another review commented, they just consumed my whole leg. I'm 5'6", and my legs are not sticks. What I mean by this is that there is a slight bit of padded lining (making them very comfy and probably great for cooler weather), but the extra girth, along with the cut made them appear huge on my leg, made my legs appear huge! So, if you have long or slender legs, these would probably be very flattering. For me they just didn't do it. Sadly, I sent them back.

Had a size nine and it was really tight around my ankle; tried another size nine and it fit perfectly. Love.

Just what I was looking for! I have tried on so many boots already this fall, looking for the perfect combination of riding/biker/harness boot. These are what I was waiting for! The color really is what it looks like they are not grey or brown or but "truffle" mushroom. Kind of in between, with black or very dark brown tops and strap. They look great with skinny jeans, and will put an edge into a more floaty skirt or dress. They are nubuck, so I am a little worried about banging them up and may spray them. I like funky shoes, but also didn't want these to be over the top. These are just the right amount of "funk" for me. I am in between a 9½ and a 10, and I bought these in a 10. Oftentimes I go up a size, and this time tried the 10 with thick socks. Still debating about sending them back for the 9½, which I think would be perfect. But the 10 gives me room to breathe.

I ordered this product based on the review. I am 5' 4" which is about average height. My calves are well muscled so sometimes it is hard to find boots that fit. These fit, but were a bit snug. I have to say I think they are very stylish, but they simply had too much going on for my slightly short frame. If I had more "leg", I think they would look better. Sent them back. However, a really nice boot, good construction, and nice leather.

Oh my goodness, these boots are gorgeous! I put them on my order as an afterthought thinking they were interesting. Turns out they're the only pair I'm keeping. Great quality, awesome edgy look, and very comfortable. As for color, they're pretty true to the image. They are greyish-brown with black at the top so they will match pretty much anything. Skirts, jeans, leggings; can't wait 'til it's cool enough to wear them. Semi-squared toe (but not boxy) so they're super comfy. Heel height is perfect for all-day wear around town. The nubuck leather is a bit oiled around the toe and heel, and I have a feeling that the more I beat these up, the more I will love them and the better they'll look! I'm rough on shoes, so that's perfect for me!
