These shoes are fantastic. I bought them for my 3.5 year old son and couldn't be any happier. They are easy to open up to get his foot in and they seem to be super comfy for him. Not to mention how cute they are. We get compliments on these shoes all the time and everyone wants to know where we got them. They're neutral enough to go with most anything, but not boring and plain. Love Keens and these are no exception.

These shoes are so cute! My son liked them immediately and enjoys wearing them. Although they are a little bit big for him now, they seem pretty comfy, and very sturdy & made well. They are some of the cutest shoes he has ever worn. We love them!

I ordered these shoes for my son. I love the way they look. I might order another pair in another color. They seem really well made, like most Keens. Only drawback is that the back of the shoe does fold down when the child is putting their foot in the shoe. It would be nice if there was a bit more support in the back. But maybe the flexibility in the back makes the shoe more comfortable and less likely to cause blisters. They are now the shoes my son always chooses to wear.

I love kids shoes. They are incredibly cute. But kids shoes also have to be comfortable, or the kid won't wear them. Now, these shoes are darling and I absolutely love how they look. My 2 year old son did, too, so he was excited to try them on for the first time. But after wearing them once, he wanted his old shoes back. His Tsukihoshi's. They were equally cute and noticeably more comfortable. In addition, I didn't find these Keens to be as durable as reported. They were already pretty banged up after 3 wks, which is to be expected, and I think they were designed to look cool when a little worn. Since I have only my son's expressions to go by, my estimate is that these are a little stiff, front heavy (lots of thick rubber around the front) and hot (we live in Phoenix), since I've noticed his feet are wet and sweaty when he takes these off (unlike the Tsukihoshi's). Having said all of this, I still think these are a quality shoe, but I would reserve my highest recommendation for Tsukihoshi.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Tsukihoshi, Beeko (both awesome), then Vincent Stan & Morgan&Milo (for style only - have not yet purchased)

Keens have been a favorite for my son. These cute Keen Kids keep me coming back. I think they are true to size, durable, and I love the wide toe area so my son's feet are happy and not smashed together. They are easy enough to get on in a rush out the door. And no matter how old they are, they seem to look new! We are sold on these shoes.

Cute shoes! My 6 year old son picked the green ones. He said the "fat walrus" (as he described it) makes him laugh and he gets this little grin on his face every time someone notices the walrus. They're nice quality and easy for him to put on himself. The only con for me is they seem a bit wide. I wish there was a way to tighten up the elastic, but he doesn't really seem bothered by the roomy fit.

I ordered these shoes for my son based on the reliability and wearablilty of Keens that he has had in the past. I ordered the same size as the Keens he was currently wearing in a hiking shoe style. I was surprised that these were much bigger than the same size by the same brand in another shoe. I would not call these true to size. They are definitely bigger than the same size he has in other brands as well. Overall, great quality but unreliable sizing.

I love Keen shoes! This is the second pair of Keen shoes for my five year old. His first pair was the Targhee and they lasted well. His older brother had the canvas shoe with laces, also from Keen, which lasted seven months! He outgrew them but the shoe itself still looks OK. Other brands we've had don't hold up as well. The fit on this shoe is good for wider feet and provides a nice toe box area. The blue suede with polar bears look quite swell!
