I ordered this in the gray color since the brown wasn't available and I already have lots of black shoes. I had my doubts about the color since I normally don't wear lighter colored shoes in the winter and light gray is hard to coordinate with tights. However, it really is very nice. The color has brown/yellow overtones to it, so it looks nice with brown, olive, tan, and warm navy as well as black. It does not look as nice with blue-toned grays. It remains to be seen whether I'll get a lot of wear out of them, but hopefully I will be able to expand my footwear horizons! This shoe is comfortable for what it is. It fits like a high heeled pump, which is basically what it is. I agree with other reviewers who say it runs small. I am usually a 7 depending on the brand or style of the shoe. I bought the 7.5 in this and it fit just right with thin tights. The one thing I don't like about the shoe is that the bottom is treacherously slippery. I wish that they had put a rubber sole on it like they did with some of their other models. I am going to have a non slip sole on it as soon as I get back to France. The style is fashion forward without being victim-y and is in line with what I am seeing on the streets of Paris. If I had more money to spend on this trip, I would have bought more Fryes!

I just decided on these in brown yesterday and they arrived today. I love Zappos! The shoes look fantastic. The leather is Frye quality. On the base all around, the leather is fixed and stiff (exactly like a normal pump, nothing unusual), with the center leather below the buckle soft like fabric. Very easy to get on and off. I almost bought a 1/2 size up after reading the reviews, but stuck with my regular size seven and they fit perfectly, definitely not too tight on the toe box like a lot of close toed shoes this season. These look fantastic and are super comfortable for a heel.

I have a lot of Frye shoes and boots, and they are all size 9. However, with this style, the 9 is too small and I will be returning it for a 9.5. The shoe itself looks and feels wonderful apart from being too small. The leather is soft and the styling is excellent, and they look a little edgier in person than they do online. I hope the 9.5 will fit me properly and I'll update this review after I receive them. Do order 1/2 size up from your normal Frye size for these!

These are my first pair of Frye shoes and they won\'t be my last. The leather is soft, supple and there is no break in period, even wore them the first day without socks and I had no rubbing or blisters. Very comfortable for a heel this high. Already looking for another Frye style. Worth the money!

I was looking for something I could wear with jeans/pants and wear socks with if I wanted to. I think these fulfill those wants. The leather is very soft. The heel feels very stable. Easy to get on and off. I wear 8 to 8.5. I got these in 8.5 and they seem to be comfy, no rubs or tightness (wearing them around the house) Can\'t wait to wear them outside.

Ahh, I too received my Allie's within 24 hours of placing order (more like 14 hours). They are beautiful shoes, but not sure I will keep them. The fit is TTS, maybe a tad small.

My Goodness! The package arrived from Kentucky less than 24 hours after ordering! Oh, I hope the same platinum service will exist considering that Zappos was just bought out by Amazon! As for the shoes, the quality can't be beat, and are perfectly sized. Love! Don't miss out on these.
