I found these shoes to be the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever purchased. They hug my feet and the inner padding on the soles is so comfortable. I have a wide foot and I'm usually hard to fit, but these shoes are just right. And of course Zappos is the best!

This is a good looking shoe; however, the size runs very narrow. I normally wear a 7.5 and the 8.5 in this shoe was a comfortable fit. I am not impressed with the padding inside the shoe. The padding in the right shoe came unglued the first day I wore them and it continues to slide forward throughout the day. I am going to purchase thin padding with hopes it stays in place and provides additional comfort.

A bit narrow -
I was looking for a shoe-boot for work and this one was a bit too narrow. After trying it on, it looked more like a casual weekend shoe and I didn't really need it for my wardrobe. If you have a narrow foot, this might be a great option for you and worth a try.

This is a very comfortable shoe! While it's a little tight across the instep for me (I have a wide foot), it was comfortable to work in for 8 hours the very first day I wore them. It's also very handsome and classy looking.

This shoe is great! I have had it for a long time now, and it looks hardly worn. It is perfect for me to wear with a suit (pants) for business dress or business casual while still being able to walk around at a normal pace and also not get blisters. My heel is narrower and the ball of my foot wider, and these fit perfectly. I love the combination of attractiveness and comfort. Most comfort shoes are not suitable for work. I wish these came in more colors (or better colors, the browns that it comes in are a little strange, wish it came in a more standard brown).

I had a pair of these in another color. They are comfortable and fit well and more importantly can be worn all day in comfort.

A trendy and beautiful shoe. Looks great with dress slacks and jeans. One of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned--from the first time I wore them.

Excellent comfort, great style -
These shoes are just as comfortable as everyone was saying and just as good looking. The insole is just great, nice and cushy. Also, the Zappos recommendation to order one half size larger than your usual size was right on. I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered the 8 and the fit was perfect. This was my first experience with this brand, but can say it's a positive one and will look for other styles by this company. Also, I have never had a bad experience with Zappos, and I have purchased 4 pair of shoes and one purse and have been extrememly satisfied.

Good Shoe but fit is a bit off -
This is a great looking shoe. But the fit is a bit off the mark. It might be because this is a British style and perhaps the sizes run differently. Also there seems to be no arch support at all. I had to put inserts for a better fit and feel.

Wonderful shoe!
My friend told me about these shoes and thank goodness she did! These shoes are worth every penny, they are classy, comfortable, and look good with both dressy and casual clothes. There was no breaking in time - I took them out of the box and wore them for 11 hours straight. Great shoe - I plan on getting another pair in a different color.

I wore them grocery shopping right out of the box. The size is perfect and although my foot is on the narrow side, the M width fit just fine. Very classy in that beautiful brown they use. I just wish the solid leather lining went all the way to the toes, but I'll get used to it.

Almost Ready for My Second Pair -
I've bough these shoes almost 10 years ago and hiked all over Europe in them. I now wear them to work regularly and they are still holding up great. I'm so glad they're still available!

Overall I liked the shoe and it looks great. Order a half size bigger as it runs small. It is very comfortable in the first few hours, but if you do a lot of walking, by the end of the day your feet will be tired. The toe box doesn't have much cushion support.

Fit Like A Glove -
I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel. I followed Zappos' recommendation to order half size up... Wow! These shoes are amazing, even with my custom orthotics. They were snug going on; I was skeptical. Once on, I didn't want to take them off. Will need NO break-in time, which is good since I have a wedding next week. Am turned on to Rieker!

I've owned a pair of these shoes for at least 3 years and they continue to be the pair I reach for every time I wear black pants. I have neuropathy and require a good shoe. These give me a sure-footed step and all day comfort.

Classic style shoe looks great with dress slacks or jeans. No need to break them in. Comfortable from the start. I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 so I ordered an 8 1/2 based on other comments about the shoe. Great service too!

My favorite shoes!
Between my friend and I, we own 6 pairs of these shoes. Some are different colors while others are duplicates because we want to make sure that we will have some if they stop making them. They're the most comfortable shoes either of us own. Look great with slacks or jeans. Can walk up and down the hills of San Francisco all day in them. This last pair was a gift. Buy them!

Low marks for poor fit -
This shoe looks great, but it feels much narrower and smaller than I expected, especially on one shoe. The one shoe feels a full size too small & narrow and I'm hoping it's just a manufacturer defect. I have another shoe from Rieker and it fits perfectly and is wonderful, but it's sized EU (40), so I'm wondering if this brand runs small when marked in American measurements.
Other than that, it's a very handsome shoe and looks great with slacks. I would recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger than what you normally take.

The shoe has a boot look when worn with jeans. It is soft, fits nicely, and needed no "break-in" time!

Well.....
Sorry to be a buzzkill; but based on my experience of walking all over London with these shoes on a recent visit, I gotta say these are not as comfortable as I would have liked. Actually, nothing short of my athletic shoes would have worked for the miles of sidewalks, bricks and cobblestones we traversed. They are fine for casual wear though and I like the style.

Nice looking shoe with long pants. If you have a high arch it is a really uncomfortable tight fit. If you don't have a high arch, maybe it would be just fine. Nice stability when walking.

Wow Zappos!!!
My review has nothing to do with my actual shoe. I already knew and loved this shoe but have had difficulty finding it. I placed my order through the very-easy-to-navigate Zappos website and I swear my shoes were at my doorstep days later, exactly as ordered. I would highly recommend ordering through this company.
