these shoes are a big (and rather expensive) disappointment. i have worn asics shoes for a number of years- gel trabuco and kayanos, but the gel sensor seems to perhaps have a major design flaw with the tongue. out of the box they felt great, but after running in them a few hours this weekend i noticed that the tongue is all rumpled/bunched up (longitudinally) and is very uncomfortable over the top of my foot, especially after running in them for an hour or so. you can smooth the tongue out, but it goes right back into the accordian folded shape as soon as you take a few steps. \r\n

Just got these shoes and love them. They have super cushy padding and nice treads for trail running. Very comfortable and cute, too!

Love these shoes. Just did a 15-mile trail run with mixed terrain (packed dirt, mud, rocks) and the shoes performed well. The lacing system is improved from the Trail Sensor 2, which I wore all last winter with great satisfaction. Happy to have this updated version just in time for a 25k trail race coming up in a couple of weeks. ASICS running shoes in general have always worked well for me, so if you have found the same to be true for your unique foot and stride, would definitely recommend these trail shoes.

 |  | I wanted to call and commend you on the customer service I received and how thrilled I was to find Zappos. I will definitely be ordering again and again. The town I live in, here in Wyoming does not have many shopping options and I would need to travel about 5 hours for a major shopping trip. This is a fabulous service with free shipping on orders and also for returns. I know of several people here that will enjoy using your service also and I am certainly going to tell them about Zappos.
