I have had these shoes about 3 or 4 weeks. I can say they were not comfortable out of the box. I had to get gel inserts to make them all day comfortable. I am an electrician and on my feet all day, up and down ladders and crawling around. The rubber coating on the toes is already coming off the shoes, not real happy about that. Leather might have been a better choice for the toe covering. Haven\'t had the occasion to test the electrical hazard protection part,(thank God), but over all I would say this is a decent shoe.

These work shoes are the second pair of this style I have purchased and I am totally satisfied with their performance. The price, wearability, comfort, and ease of purchasing them was a positive experience. I would recommend these to everyone.

Great shoe, but not for me -
I have a problem with my left foot; it's a little crooked from an accident. Steel toes are the biggest challenge! If it weren't for that, these would have been great. Look good, felt good (cushiony!). If you have high arches, the arch support is moderate, not excellent, but my Birkenstock arch supports fit inside nicely and took care of that. Definitely try these.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I love Keens but they don't make steeltoes.

Very comfortable!
I wore these for the first time today, and am a very happy camper. I am replacing a similar pair of Skechers work shoes that I purchased from Zappos more than two years ago, and finally have worn out. I ordered these to be pretty roomy, as my feet tend to get overheated, and they were very comfortable all day long. There is a bit more sole padding than I was expecting, but I am sure as they get worn in, that will be reduced. They felt very light on my feet, and seemed to fit very well. It’s hard to believe that they are steel-toed!

 |  | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
