Shoe fits about a half size small for it to be true to size. Apart from scuffing a bit easy the overall use of the shoe is perfect for working in the field. Comfortable and durable. Look great too.

Excellent shoe. Not bad looking, pretty comfortable, and definitely tough. The slip resistant feature has kept me from busting my @$$ on several occasions at my restaurant.

Do not like the shoes. They scuff very easily, and turn from brown to a "purplish" color when scuffed. This occurs on the toe of the shoes, and the sides of the shoes. I have had Skechers steel toe shoes before, and have not had this problem. The last pair I had were excellent, but these are the exact opposite.

These shoes are very comfortable, true to size, very slip resistant and stylish. As mentioned by many they scuff ridiculously easy, but they are my work shoes, so I dont care too much. Definitely the niceness wore off fast. The brown ones scuff a reddish colour, maybe the black ones arent so bad. Nice and light and very protective.

With big feet, it was suggested I get steel toe footwear before I left for China. I happened upon Zappos cruising the net and then read some independent reviews. All good. I ordered two pair of different styles of shoes. One was an absolutely great fit: Skechers Work Raconteur, and the other, less than desirable. In my time line I did not have time to send the ill fitting pair back and get credited on my card and get another set ordered. Zappos rushed another pair of the Raconteur to me before I left the states. About twelve days later I received a refund for the pair I returned. They made the whole process painless and hassle free. They are on my (very) short list of Internet Shopping Sites. And the shoes themselves: Roomy comfortable and (for me) the absolutely right "bend" in them for lots of squatting, and padding for walking. Really the first day out with them on, I wore them all day. A real rarity for breaking in new work shoes.

Very light and comfortable safety shoe may be the lightest steel-toe I have ever worn.These are a very comfortable shoe to be in all day. Would recommend to anyone on there feet all day where a safety shoe is required.

A friend referred me to Zappos for finding shoes my size more easily. The Raconteur was a great fit for my size 13 feet. These shoes are incredibly comfortable and durable. And Zappos free shipping had it to my home in just 3 days!

Skechers are always a great product. They are true to size and are very comfortable. The slip resistance is the best I've ever had. This is my second pair.

Comfortable steel toe work shoe prone to scuffs. This shoe is true to size and very light weight for a steel toe work shoe. However, the leather is very prone to scuffs and depending on your taste you might not like it and hard to return after trying it out. I bought this shoe for my dad and the only complaint he has is that it easily gets scratched and scuffed.

I bought these shoes because I got a job with Delta Airlines working on the tarmac around the planes, so I thought that they would be a great all-around work shoe. After only working 3 days, they are starting to take a beating, there are many sharp corners around where I work, so the sole is getting chewed up around the heel. The really good thing is that the anti-slip sole is truly ANTI-SLIP around OIL and GAS! So based on that, I would truly recommend the shoe.

 |  | I have told friends and family about Zappos and it was just because the service has been wonderful. As a 63 year old, I recall the super service given in the old department stores. I mourned the loss of that quality service as stores cut back, closed, went mall, outlet, superstore, online.
