Great shoe, very comfortable. I am moderate over-pronator, and have found that Saucony seems to make the best shoes for this situation. This shoe has been the best of the Saucony line that I\'ve tried.

I'm so glad Saucony came out with this model -
I've been running in Grid Stabil's for many years. I noticed that over time, and especially with the Grid Stabil 6, that they had moved away from the reason I bought Grid Stabils in the first place. I am a large runner, 6'3", 240lbs who runs at least 4 miles, 4 days a week. The Grid Stabils were the only shoes I ever found that offered the motion control I needed with plenty of cushioning. For the Stabil Grid 6, the heel had so little cushioning I had to put 1 and 1/2 cushioned inserts in to even be able to run in them. However, the minute I purchased the Progrid Stabil CS and put them on, I fell in love with the brand all over again. Now I'm getting the right amount of cushioning in the heel, a wider toebox and more flexibility. I love this shoe and would recommend it to any large runner looking for motion control and a cushioned ride!

Very Happy -
I had an older 'Stabil' model that single-handedly stopped my shin splints due to its arch support. I got these new shoes and they are even more supportive. They are also much lighter and much more flexible than my old ones. They are about 1/4 of a size smaller than my old ones, even though they are both Stabils, but they still fit nicely.

Perfect fit -
This shoe was exactly as advertised. The perfect shoe for over-pronation. It is stable, comfortable, and provides ample room for custom orthotics. The shoe I've been looking for.

A shoe worth enjoying...
I'm not aware if Asics has had this shoe in the market for long. I liked it from the moment I saw it and immediately ordered a pair. I'm glad I did. Some of the best features are its inserts and the arch support, not to mention the overall design and its' retro-ish look, which I love.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Asics Gel Evolution 4 , New Balance 993, & Brooks Beast 10
