I will never buy another running shoe. This shoe is the best. I was having problems with my heels. They hurt when I run. I bought these; the pain is gone. I've had them for 5 months. I hate to take them off. I'd wear them all the time if they weren't for running. Next year I'll get a new pair and use the old one for everyday. Can't wait!

I have worn the Mizuno shoes for years. They fit me like a glove. Light but substantial. The Wave Rider 12 is great! I would like to say that this was my first experience with Zappos and it was five stars. So glad I ordered.

I have tried several brands of shoes (I\'m a casual runner), but I always come back to Mizunos. They are lightweight and fit better than any others. It\'s a bonus to be able to find shoes in narrow sizes for me.

With a job that requires I be on my feet all day long, I love these shoes. Today I put in a 13 hour day which meant numerous trips up and down the steps. The support is great, so the shoes still feel great even if my feet swell. In addition to work, I did two miles at the local track. No terrible odor and no overheated feet. No itchy athletes foot like other sports shoes. And the ultimate test; my students think the shoes are cool colors and a super style.

This was my first pair of Wave Riders, I had previously used Wave Creation. I have a neutral running style and run marathons. I chose trying the Wave Rider because of the lightness (9oz. compared to 10.5 oz.). You could feel the difference! Fit was the same (need 1/2 size larger than usual shoe size), as was comfort. Cushioning didn\'t seem to last as long, but then with a difference of 1.5 oz you would expect that. I am very happy with the shoe, and will continue to use Wave Riders over Wave Creation.

I ordered these shoes in a size 10, because in most shoes, a size 10 is a little big. They were too short, so I reordered them in a 10 1/2. I have bad feet and am hard to fit, but these give me the arch support I need and fit perfectly. Delivery was timely, easy to return, and I think Zappos is a great company to deal with. I love the free shipping!

Love Mizuno. I was happy with the Mizuno Wave Runner 11 that I have and have worn every day with orthotics, the shoes seem to fit perfectly for my feet. I had ordered a 1/2 size larger. Since I liked the Mizunos I went with the jade color and ordered the 12s, hoping they kept the comfort and fit, and I was not disappointed. They fit my feet right out of the box, and I have high arches and am a neutral runner. Presently, I am sick, so I need just comfortable shoes for walking that will not irritate Achilles tendinitis, and the Mizunos do that as well, as they do not come up high in the back. I got a 1/2 size larger, use orthotics in them, and they are very comfortable. Thanks Zappos for the quick service.

I have owned Wave Riders going back to their 6th model. I was originally fitted in a specialty running store and have not looked back. Zappos has been my go-to supplier ever since. This is a neutral shoe so if you have any sort of under- or over-pronation, then this shoe is not for you. If you need support, then this shoe is definitely not for you. If you need extra cushioning, then this shoe is not for you. If you have a neutral, efficient gait, then this shoe is a dream. If you are buying this model, or any shoe model, for the first time, please try it out in a running store first. Know your feet first and only then buy the shoe that matches with them. Reviews for running shoes are useless, if one does not know what type of running style one has.

I purchased these shoes based on the high recommendations from reviews. I have run about 20 miles in them hoping I will get the feeling that the other reviewers are feeling. The last time I ran (about 2 miles into the run with the intention of running about 5 miles) I had to take the shoes off because my muscles on the outer part of my leg were hurting so bad. I am very disappointed in the shoes hoping they had to go through a "break in" period but that is not looking like the case. I will not run in them again. Very disappointed consumer.

I bought these for running, and thought they were going to be great, especially with all of the great reviews. They even felt pretty good when I first tried them on. I’ve only run in them 2x and didn't go more than 2 miles (I usually run 5 miles) either time because I had such severe pain in the arches of my feet and my Achilles tendon. Since I've run in them, I can't return them, but I have to get more shoes if I plan on running. They feel OK if you're just walking and not running though.

I just took my first run in these shoes, and I am so happy with them! They have a wonderful cushion and a great grip! My feet feel so comfy in them, it’s like I don’t want to take them off. I can tell they hold my feet very well and I can run much longer in them than my old Asics with no pain at all. Yeah, they’re a little pricey, but if you’re serious about running, you owe it to yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

Highly cushioned great walking and running shoe -
I'm on my 5th pair of Mizuno's. It took me a while to figure out which style is best for me. I have a high arch and don't pronate much, so the Wave Rider 12 is a good neutral shoe for me. I ordered the Wave Rider 11 also, since they were on sale, but I sent them back as they don't have nearly enough cushioning. If you are a moderate or an over-pronator, this shoe is NOT for you, but you may want to check out the Wave Inspire or the Wave Nirvana. What I especially like about Mizuno's is that they seem to be more cushioned than other shoes and they are very light on your feet. They also have a removable insert if you use orthotics. Sometimes, I don't always care for their color choices, but I love the product anyway. I usually wear a 10 and always buy Mizuno's in a 10.5. I bought two pair of this style - one in each color so that my shoes will last longer. I rotate them for my workouts every couple of days so that they can air out fully. Of course, with Zappos, I ordered the shoes at 7 pm and they were at my door the next day! Unbelievable. Good luck!

I finally got some sense knocked into me to get these shoes after being diagnosed with severe tendonitis. I have super high arches and had really overworked my feet to the point of not being able to walk. 4 weeks later I can walk again and purchased these shoes to start taking care of myself. I put my custom insoles in and did a short run and they felt great! Just enough support, lightweight, breathable, and hug my feet. I am a 7 1/2 and I am sure glad I got an 8! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed, and if you're a super active person like me... be good to your feet!

These shoes are great!
I love these shoes; I have extremely high, rigid arches and they are super comfortable! My feet are really narrow too but these fit great. I usually wear an 8.5 but bought these in a 9 because everyone says they run small. The 9 felt a little big at first but I kept them and have gone on about 5 runs totaling 20 miles in them, they've been great! Really light! I'd recommend them if you need a neutral-cushioning shoe. I LOVE ZAPPOS! :)

super comfy, super cute -
I was wearing a pair of NB cross trainers and recently decided to start running. My old shoes caused me so much knee pain. I ordered these on a recommendation for people with high arches and I love them! No "break in" time, just put them on and go. No knee pain, either. They are a little "bright" in color, but still really cute.

People with narrow feet should rejoice the world over!
I am one of those people born with difficult to fit feet. They are a AA and are a bit bony and tender, which they have been my whole adult life. I ALWAYS have had a difficult time finding shoes that felt "okay," let alone actually feel really GOOD. So, you can imagine how happy I am when I occasionally find a shoe that A) Fits my narrow foot and actually hugs it in all the right ways, B) Feels REALLY comfortable (no pain, just pure comfort), C) Actually LOOKS GOOD too!
Younger people with narrow feet know that they are frequently limited to more "old lady" type of styles than people with normal/average width feet. Even people with wider feet have a lot more choices today than those with narrow feet (now that the average foot width has grown to match the girth of the increasing numbers of obese people supposedly). In summary, if you have narrow feet and have looked high and low for an attractive athletic shoe that fits great, gives excellent "shock absorbancy" and stability, and looks really attractive, you can't go wrong with this shoe.

I have been a fan of Mizuno running shoes for a long time. I always had to settle for medium width shoes, which looked and felt like gunboats on my narrow feet. Thanks to Zappos, I have my favorite shoes in AA! These shoes are the best for running, comfortable and supportive, and they look awesome!

This is my first pair of running shoes and I'm in love with them. I use to run in regular Nike sneakers and you can certainly tell the difference as soon as you put these on. I will definitely be wearing them for a long long time.

Awesome running shoe!
I wore this shoe at a 5K race right out of the box. It is so light-weight and comfortable. Great heel support. Love it! Zappos' awesome customer service was a bonus!

Great running shoe with lots of support!
I have high arches and narrow feet. I ordered these shoes in narrow and love them. They are super comfy and give just the right amount of support. They feel especially great to put on after a long day in dress shoes.

These are my fifth pair of Mizunos and they just keep getting better and better! I ran marathons in college, but have recently decreased my mileage. In these shoes, I feel like I could just run forever! Light, comfortable, and really cute -- they are a must buy for the serious AND not-so-serious runner!!

The Best Shoe For High Arches! EVER!
I have very high arches and it is difficult to find shoes that don't eventually cause me pain. Our local running shoe store recommended the Wave Rider for me several years ago when I started running. For budget reasons, I have tried other shoes for half the price, but after 3 failed attempts to find comfort, I will never scrimp on good shoes again. If you have high arches, try these - you won't regret it! (Had to give this version a *4* for looks - I'm not a fan of the pink.)
