The shoes were shipped upgraded shipping, so they arrived early than expected. At no extra cost! They appear very well made. My grandson was happy to get them, and with the velcro straps, he can put his own shoes on! A big feat for a 2-year-old. We haven't tried washing them yet, but just knowing they are washable is nice. Thank you Zappos; you've made us happy again!

My grandson loves these shoes. They have good support, for his wide flat feet. I would recommend them highly.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Keen are good, but I prefer stride rite\'s quality.

These sneakers are lightweight, are easy to take on and off, truly washable and fit my son\'s extra wide feet perfectly. The main complaint I have about this and other Stride Rite shoes is that the fabric comes off from the velcro straps after only a month or so of wear and tear (and my boy definitely gives these shoes a run for the money!). So now when he puts them on, he has to gather the fabric and velcro to close the top. Otherwise, they are a great shoe!

My son is a Stride Rite kid & I am a Zappos mom. Perfect combo!!! This shoe is great for school, playground, and dressy casual. My son had no complaints putting them on for the first time & that means they fit well!!! The shoe is very soft for Stride Rite so I hope they hold up as well as the others!

My son loves these shoes and they are very comfortable for him. They clean very easy, just stick them in the wash with your whites and voila!

I bought this shoe in the white color for my very active 2 year old. The shoe is lightweight and also easy for my son to put on and take off by himself. We have had the shoe now for about 2 months and it is withstanding all the activities of the playground. In addition what I absolutely love is you can throw it in the washer (cold water) to clean and then let air dry. It looks good with jeans, shorts or his khakis. It does, however, run slightly wider than most Stride Rite wide widths, which was no big deal since we adjust the velcro straps for a more snug fit. I have always purchased Stride Rite shoes and have not had any problems. As always, doing business with Zappos is wonderful.

My little guy loves these shoes. They are so light weight, and I assume they are comfortable because he always chooses them. They open wide, perfect for little boys with wide feet. They are washable, and easy to keep clean. Zappos service is THE BEST.
