Slip into heavenly comfort with these awesome sheepskin lined house shoes. They are warm and comforting after a long day of work. The outside is covered with suede. Love them to pieces. I had never heard of the brand, but I would definitely buy something of theirs again.

I love these scuffs! I bought a pair in WA a few years ago and they wore out. I was so glad to find them again at Zappos! I must confess, I go through a pair a year, but I wear them ALL the time! I do wish the sole would hold up a little better, but other than that, I love them. I tried the booties in this brand, but my foot is wide so the scuffs were a better fit. Thanks again, Zappos, for the fantastic customer service! There is none better!!!

I ordered the Old Friends to replace my old pair from five years ago. I originally bought a cheaper pair and returned them. I am so glad I bought these! They are so soft and comfortable. I know I will have them for the next five years. They fit snugly. I wear a size 8 shoe and ordered the Large. There is not a lot of room at the back, so a size 9 should probably go up a size.

Fabulous slippers for the great white north! The luxurious inside keeps feet warm without overheating and the non slip sole are terrific for whipping outside to dispose of the compost. A great purchase, worth the money and the shipping was fantastic, after our rural post office finally found my package. Use Zappos for all your footwear needs. I find it especially functional and rewarding because I have wide feet that are not easily fitted. Online ordering makes things extremely easy, and their return policy, although I have never had to use it, is great. Yay Zappos! Keep up the great work.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I would have loved to see these slippers in a more funky print, like cheetah or leopard.

We had been looking for this particular slipper and all other shopping sites were out or over priced. Ordering was easy, the product arrived in a timely fashion. We had ordered two pairs in case one size did not fit. We kept them both! The site is user friendly with lots to choose from.

I was a repeat purchaser of Old Friend, but this particular model is not manufactured well. The top of the scuff separated from the sole (in the front/toe area) just a few weeks after purchasing. I will try another brand next time.

Another great Old Friends slipper. This is my second Old Friends style and love them both: instantly comfortable, reasonably priced, and Zappos got them to me in a day and half. The Zappos service remains amazing!

These slippers are fairly comfortable, but they wore out really fast. I only had them for a month when the fuzzy stuff on the inside started to rub off. They cannot get wet, and if you spill something on them, it is really hard to clean it off. Water leaves a permanent dark mark. Also, they are pretty heavy, so if you buy these you will be clomping around. Other than all that, they were pretty comfortable But definitely NOT worth such a high price.

This is the second pair of Old Friend Ladies Scuff slippers I\'ve purchased. I\'m generally an 8 1/2 or 9 shoe, and the large fits me perfectly. The slipper is warm, comfortable, attractive, and has good traction (I have wood floors).

If you're buying slippers for an older person or anyone who tends to have a shuffling gait, don't choose these. The thick rubbery tread on the bottom makes these slippers treacherous for people who slide their feet as they walk. I walk this way when I am particularly tired or when I get up during sleep to use the bathroom. This applies to both carpeted or smooth flooring. If I had known how dangerous this was going to turn out to be I would not have purchased these. I ended up falling face-first to the floor and nearly knocked myself unconscious when trying to move about around the end of my bed. If you want slippers with traction like a truck tire, then this is a good bet for you. Otherwise, choose something with a more smooth sole.

We don't wear shoes in the house so I live in my slippers. For the price the Old Friend slippers are fine. They seem sturdy and well made. They’re not soothing on the feet...you don't put them on and sigh with relief but they are comfortable enough for padding around. I wish there was a bit more arch support or a more padded insole but the materials are soft and the slipper is cozy. They’re true to size I guess but I thought that for Scuffs they should be a little longer - my foot is almost right at the edge. I also wish they had a bit more chunky sole as I like to go outside in them from time to time. Next time I might splurge on Uggs but for now I am happy with my Old Friends.

New design not so great -
This is my favorite slipper. Well constructed, good quality, good value BUT there has been a design change that I don't like as well as the old design. The slipper now comes much higher up on your foot. Not as comfortable and looks more like a boxy, clunky boot than a slipper. There is a new sole that doesn't make any difference in the feel also. I kept my new ones but won't reorder.

Started out great. Bought them to replace my UGGs. I've had them for about 4 months and they have gone from cozy to sloppy. The shearling has worn off under my heel and is wearing off also under the ball of my foot. My UGGs lasted for years before any of the wear off was noticeable. I will probably invest in UGGs next time.

Too big and loose -
I bought these to replace my Ugg slippers. I got a size large because the reviews said they ran small. The length is fine and my foot would hang over the back if they were smaller. But they are too wide and loose (and I have wide feet), especially if you wear them without socks like I like to. My foot slides around inside and it is hard to keep them on my feet going downstairs. The fleece is nice but the fit is not at all like Uggs.

Old friend slipper -
I bought these because, as an ardent slipper wearer, I go through a lot of pairs. These slippers are comfortable, warm, fine for slippers. I felt the length was a bit short but since they stretch out a lot, it’s fine. No arch support, in case you need it.

Set your toes free from office shoes. Instant warmth on a cold day. Immediately comfortable. I bought my actual size and the fuzzy interior conforms to your foot, with wiggle room for toes and feet, as I believe it should be with a slipper like this. Have bought four of their products and love them all. (Don’t miss the sherpa thongs, which I wear outdoors. Always hear, "I love your thongs".) Comfy Kundalini clouds. Enjoy.

This is the second pair of 'Old Friend' slippers I've had. The first pair lasted around 8 or 9 years. They are definitely worth the price. No slipper keeps my foot warmer. You won't be disappointed if you purchase them.

Really Great Shoe! I Would Definitely Buy Again!
These are the most comfortable shoes!! They were a perfect fit! I gave 4 stars for comfort because the hard sole took some getting used to. But you can wear these outdoors with no problem, so the hard sole is a definite plus after all! Very warm and plus for a great price, you can't beat it!!

Way Too Loose!
I normally wear a 7 1/2 in shoes and a 7 in flip flops, so I thought the 6 1/2-7 1/2 size would be fine. My foot goes to the very, very end of the slipper, not even 1/4" to spare. But the top part of the slipper is so big and loose that my toes get tired just trying to hold the slipper on my foot! I even have a wide-ish foot. I would not recommend this slipper to anyone. The length was short and the width was gigantic.

I love these slippers. As other reviewers have stated, order up. I wear an 8.5, but ordered the extra large that are supposed to fit 9.5 - 10.5 I have a bit of room at the back, but my heel would have been hanging off the back if I had ordered true to size. The sole is a bit stiff at first, but it does break in, and because it's so thick they are perfect for quick trips outside. I would not hesitate to get another pair of Old Friends, as they are just as comfy and way less expensive that Uggs.

Great slipper!
This slipper is warm, comfortable and wicks away moisture. Love the non-slip sole. I bought the tan slipper and it looks nice - hides dirt.

I shop the latest styles and fashions on Zappos.com in Denmark, ship them to my USA address and pay with my Danish bank card...no hassle. Your “competition” will not allow me to do that and they place the burden of identity verification on me. When I try to place an order from Denmark to ship to my house in USA they cancel my order. When I call in to determine why they do not use a more sophisticated method of credit card verification like “Verify by Visa” they tell me they cannot reinstate the order.
