Nice Slipper!!
Great slipper, very warm and comfortable. I wear with sock or without either way, nice and comfy and can wear even outside if you like. One thing is they appear to feel like they are stretching out a bit with wear. I don’t see that as a major issue but something to be aware of. Overall, I love this slipper!

Nice Slipper!!

Warm, snuggly and versatile -
I love my old friend slippers! I was a little weary of the sizing after reading some other reviews, and when you first put them on, they do feel a little snug, but it's just because of all the fluff inside. After an evening of wearing them, it molded right around my feet and they fit perfect. (I'm a size 7 that doesn't vary much except with certain brands that tend to run small.) And, I was really surprised to find that they actually had a nice arch support. I was expecting nothing really, but they are so comfortable. I wear these all the time, not just as slippers, but as shoes as well and I am very happy with my purchase. I've never actually tried a pair of Uggs on and don't intend to any time soon. No need.

Warm slipper -
This slipper is warm and somewhat comfortable. However, it provides little support and runs really wide.

I bought these slippers and the moment I put them on they felt like I owned them forever, like an old comfy shirt. The quality and fast service is top notch. Can't say enough for the slippers and Zappos.

After 6 years of maximum mileage, I am shopping for new ones -
If you're the kind of person who likes to wear shoes until they're falling apart, you won't be disappointed with these. My Old Friends have been on my feet every moment at home from October to May for the last six years. Finally, there is a hole in one of the soles, but these slippers don't owe me anything at this point. The lighter color tends to get dirty, so I threw them in the washing machine once and they came out looking almost new. If you do that, you'll need to set them up with a fan or blower; otherwise the fleece deep inside dries slowly. I wear size 10 or 41 and bought these in a large 11-12.

Better than UGG at half the price!
Mmmmmmm, toasty comfort! I have been a big fan of sheepskin boots and slippers for several years now -- they're amazingly warm and comfortable and I find that with frequent wear, the natural lanolin in the fleece even softens rough skin and calluses on your feet! This time I wanted a slip-on pair of house slippers, and decided to try Old Friend because the price was reasonable and they had the color I wanted (a lovely bright red with natural fleece which now seems to have vanished from Zappos, even though I just ordered a week ago?). The slippers are wonderful; the fleece is thick and soft and silky, comparable in quality to Australian and New Zealand brands I've purchased in the past, equal or better than brand-name UGG (which in my experience are dreadfully overpriced and often lower-quality sheepskin for the money, they're coasting on the name recognition.) The suede uppers are soft and richly colored, and the rubber sole has nice treads that make it more than suitable for quick runs to the mailbox, laundry room, etc. -- great if you tend to ruin soft-soled house slippers by running outside. I'm quite pleased and will definitely come back to this brand in the future! A note on fit and sizing -- these slippers fit like most soft sheepskin boots/slippers I've tried in the past, which is to say they usually run large, anywhere from half a size to a full size bigger than conventional shoes. On average I take a 7.5 in most shoes, although I go up to 8 in some closer-fitting dressy styles and down to 7 in softer styles like Ugg-type boots. I ordered these in the "Medium - 6.5 -7.5" size, and they were just perfect. If you've never worn sheepskin footwear before, bear in mind that the fleece will compact and mold to your foot over time, so you do want something that feels a bit snug (but not painfully so) when you first put it on -- after a day or two of wear, the fleece will settle, so starting out with a looser fit will rapidly leave you with a slipper that's loose enough to fall right off! If you're in doubt, go with the smaller/narrower size -- or get both, Zappos excellent return policies make it so easy to try things out and get the right fit.

The best slipper ever!!! I loved this shoe so much that this is my second pair. For me it really isn't just a slipper because I wear it outside too. It is warm and cozy and feels great on my feet. A must have!!!

5th pair -
I have owned 5 pairs of these shoes over the past 3 years. I wear them all over my house. They get worn out on the inside after about 7 months of hard everyday use, but have never found a more comfortable slipper!!!

I was so exited when I received these for a B-day gift. However, they are a full size too small. They said 9.5-10.5. I wear a 10, my heel was hanging out/off the back about an inch!

These are incredibly comfortable slippers. I don't like synthetic slippers and Uggs are too expensive, so these are a great alternative. Made of pure sheepskin and well made, I'm sure they are going to last a long time. Very pleased!!!

Softest Slippers I've Ever Owned -

Comfortable and practically slip-proof!
I had taken a bad fall while wearing thick socks on a tile floor. I then decided to start wearing slippers and to find slippers with the BEST traction. These fit the bill perfectly! They're very cozy and warm and have excellent traction. The only down side is that the sole feels just a little heavy - but that comes with quality. I am very happy with these slippers.

These slippers don't stay fluffy for long -
I have had these slippers for over a year, and they are fairly comfortable and true to size. I am only unhappy with the fact that the inner lining did not last long at all. The white part on the inside and part of the outside kept coming off, leaving the bare slipper underneath. Not great quality in my opinion, particularly considering that they were not cheap.

Great Slippers!
I wear a 9.5 AA and this slipper feels true to size. It's so comfortable and a lot less expensive than similar versions. It is a bit heavier than a traditional slipper but it keeps my feet toasty and is durable enough for quick trips outdoors. As a stay-at-home mom I wear slippers out frequently, so I'll be back for more of these.

AWESOME -
These are the best slippers. They have lasted better than any other slipper I have purchased and they are still comfortable 6 months later. The only part that seems to ever wear out is the heel.

Wow -- what a great slipper!!!!
The first pair I purchased last year was for my oldest daughter who never takes them off. She goes to college in Boston and all her friends and classmates have purchased them. Purchased the second pair for my other daughter and she never takes them off. The quality is better than Uggs, and the price is right.

I really like the feel of this slipper. It's a bit too warm in Fresno, CA for this slipper in the summer. But I'm still glad I purchased the slippers. I normally wear a size 10 shoe; but I had to purchase a size 11 in this slipper.

 |  | Unbelievable. I received shoes yesterday from an order I placed last week. I was bummed to find they were about a half size too small. So yesterday evening I placed a new order for the larger size but was bummed because I knew I'd have to wait a few days to receive them. I received an email from Zappos that my order had shipped last night. Nice touch but I figured no way that could happen, at the earliest it'll go out today. Then I checked the tracking number this morning and saw that my order went out from Kentucky last night, arrived in San Diego this morning (!) and was out for delivery!!! Wow. I'm impressed. Always have had a good experience with Zappos. When I expressed my frustration last night to my wife that the shoes didn't fit and I wish there was a better way to insure correct fit when you order online, she asked how I thought Zappos could make it more convenient.
