These boots are pretty close to my dream, for both the style and the feel of the uppers. The leather is buttery soft, and they come out of the box looking like boots that cost much more. I am 5'4" and the height is just right. They are also a bit narrower on top than most boots in this style, so they look great on my slimmer calves. I've recently ordered about 6 different pairs from Zappos and most have been too wide on top and looked awful on me. My complaints are with the sole. I wish it was thicker, with better traction and shock absorption. I have been spoiled in recent years by Keens and Dansko, so I am used to shoes that are more cushiony and have a bit more bounce. They do need some extra arch support, but I almost always add my own in every shoe I wear anyway. I would have liked a more rugged sole that could handle a little rain or snow, and these are not boots for that. But for the price they are beautiful and well worth keeping away from slush.

I love the look of the boots but the arch is way to low and I can\'t even get the shoe on. I hate to send them back but it looks like I have to try to find another pair. Only buy this shoe if you have flat feet or a very low arch.

Love the looks of these boots, but I ordered my usual size (6.5) and they are fairly snug with thin socks. They appear to be sold out in most sizes, but I\'m hoping they are re-stocked so I can order a half size larger!

These shoes met my expectation. Comfy fit, heel is slightly wide and insole is soft (like Born) but very little arch support. The style is rugged and the leather has a distressed finish. I bought these because I just am not into wearing slippers (i.e. Uggs) while running errands and these feel more durable and look the part without looking to sloppy. Cheaper then Prari brand shoes, which are identical.

Uncomfortable -
This boot was made of really nice leather; it was already very soft and flexible. However, the instep is not very high, as a result it was slightly difficult to zip up. When it was zipped, I could feel the zipper against the arch of my foot. The arch support felt fine and the sole felt pretty cushy, but I was surprised the zipper was crafted in such a way that you could feel it from inside the boot. Maybe only because it was tight around the instep... not really sure.

 |  | I just wanted to thank you for being so wonderful. Last week I ordered a pair of shoes but when I got them home the color didn't match so I needed to return them. What I didn't realize was that when I shipped them back to you, my cell phone charger was also in the box. The last couple of days I have been going crazy looking for it. But to my surprise it showed up today. My UPS driver just dropped off a tiny Zappos box. As I opened the box knowing that I hadn't ordered anything, I was amazed and grateful to find the charger in there. This little gesture just proves how much your company goes above and beyond for their customers and I for one truly, truly appreciate it. When you say "We are always here for you" you really mean it! I love your company, site, and all you stand for and do for your customers. I can't thank you enough for making my day! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
