Sorry, but I cannot recommend these boots. Yes, they are very warm and the suede is wonderful; however, the footbed is terrible. It is stiff, and kind of hollow feeling, but at the same time I keep getting this feeling my foot was going to roll over and sprain my ankle. While that may seem a contradiction, the only way I can describe the stiffness is equivalent to walking with an ironing board balanced atop a tennis ball on each foot. The footbed reminds me of very cheap boot you can pick up at any low cost shoe chain. Not to mention the placement of the arch support. Again, strangely off. The arch support hit me behind my arch!? I am a green person, so I look for companies like Patagonia, but I have to at least like their products. The look is kind of cheap, too. Overall, a very weird boot.

I love my new boots. They are so comfy and very warm. They are true to size and fit just perfect. I bought a size 5. I will not need to wear thick socks with them as they are warm with thin socks. I love being able to find my size on Zappos. It is my favorite place to buy shoes! Highly recommend this boot even though it is expensive. I wanted something warm and attractive and that\'s exactly what I got!

I purchased these boots because another reviewer said they kept her feet warm while walking around town; importantly, the town was Chicago and the review was dated January 2009. I happened to have been visiting Chicago at that time and it was below 0 degrees F there actual temperature for at least a week straight, so I knew these boots had to be warm! The boots have proven to be just as warm and waterproof as I thought they would be, and they are also cute (not as bulky as Uggs or other similar boots). They do fit fairly close to the leg, so larger jean bottoms will not tuck into them very easily if that is something you are interested in.

The boots are really cute and true to size. I have a high in-step so they are pretty hard to pull on and off. I don't know if they will soften up and get easier, so I'm wearing them around the house a little to see. Warm and waterproof: what else can you ask for in Michigan winter!

These boots are awesome! I am from Southern California and moved to Colorado just over a year ago and I am terrified of the cold. I sleep with heating pad 'til June in Cali and suffer from cold hands and feet, but these boots from Patagonia kept my feet totally warm and safe in a winter storm. I had to dig my car out from a foot tall of snow and these boots rocked as I trampled through the snow! I originally tried a couple pair of boots by North Face, but they were no good. I am so glad I found these. The pictures don't do them justice. They are much more sleek and cute in person. Looks great with jeans. I love them. Super good quality and really waterproof! Money well spent, and Zappos is such a great company. I don't know how they do it. The ankle area is a bit snug, so might be hard to get your feet in for some people.

I just exchanged the brown for the black to match my new coat. In order to exchange you just have to call their 1-800 number and they will send the new pair with 1 day shipping! Exchanging saved me since they cost less when I bought them in September. I didn't have to pay extra now that they are higher. Also, I always wear a size 10 and their size 10 fit perfectly.

Great boots, had to exchange -
I loved these boots when I tried them on but was so sad they were too large. I read everyone's reviews saying to order up because they run small and unfortunately ordered up too large. I normally wear an 8 - 8.5 so I ordered the 9, but my feet were swimming. I am returning and reordering an 8.5. Unfortunately because the site does not allow for an exchange, and the price went up, I now have to pay an extra $4. Otherwise I love the boots, but didn't get to try them outside yet because I am returning them.

I just received my boots in the mail, and I love them! I usually wear a 9.5-10; however, after reading previous reviews, I decided to order an 11. I've never worn an 11, but with a pair of my thick wool socks, they fit perfectly! I would advise to order up as they are a bit narrow in the ankle, as well. Both the inside and outside are very soft, but they still feel tough like they will outperform the rain/snow/ice of the winter! I will definitely be ordering Patagonia again, and also ordering from Zappos!

Great boot!
This boot is wonderful and very well-made, I wear them every day. They're warm, waterproof, not too bulky, and stylish. I found they ran almost a size larger than marked. I went with Sporto boots last winter, and they wore out, the quality and comfort of these boots is much better than Sporto.

Runs a little narrow -
These boots look great and are very warm but I have a narrow foot and they still feel a bit snug. I can't wear more than a light weight sock with them. They also feel a little tight in the calf and I'm having trouble tucking pants into them. I'm pretty sure they will have to go back. :(

Wonderful All Around -
After a couple days of wear these boots became super comfortable. I wore them on a week long trip to NYC in January. With miles of walking my feet never hurt and were never cold! And they look great too!

Great Boot!
I live in Chicago and have a dog to walk. These boots are great. Very warm and completely waterproof. We have been having a brutally cold and snowy winter, these boots having really been a life saver. I ordered a 1/2 size up and they fit well.

These boots are OK for walking in the snow (no wet feet), but they are kind of stiff and hard to remove. I bought some boots for other family members, in different styles/brands, and mine were the least nice-looking and the least comfortable. No fault of Zappos though, and I will buy shoes/boots from the site again -- it was easy and fast.

Just want to say these Bostonian espressos are excellent shoes. It is extremely comfortable and light. I just love it. Two thumbs up.

This is the best shoe purchase I have ever made! No kidding. I bought these for a recent trip to Paris, as I needed shoes for cold, wet weather. They arrived the day prior to the trip. Not a smart move, brand new, untested shoes on a trip with lots of walking, but these turned out to be the only shoes I wore on the entire trip. So comfortable. Warm. And stylish enough for winter weather. Perfect!

Awesome boot!
Loved this boot from the moment I took them out of the box. They are so cute and fashionable, yet keep your feet dry and really warm just like many other boots that are bigger and clunkier do. I wore them immediately and received so many compliments in just one day. The only slightly negative thing I can say is that if you have a wider foot like I do, you may have trouble putting them on the first couple of times. But after that they seem to stretch just enough to make them easier to get on! I have yet to get a blister or have them rub any place. I've worn them every day since I got them and it's been typical Missouri weather. I treaded thru 2 inches of snow the first day, the next day freezing rain, and yesterday, it was 65 degrees and sloppy. I bought the lighter color and they have yet to show any water or dirt damage! My dog stepped on my toe today and the paw print just brushed right off. I intended to buy another pair to have when these wear out. These boots are the proof that you don't have to sacrifice fashion for function!

I love these boots!
These boots are perfect! I spent a lot of time looking for boots that were comfortable, cute, and practical. I have a dog in Chicago that I have to walk in the snow and other weather conditions. These boots have totally worked! They are so warm and completely waterproof!
