Great purchase; very comfortable and very warm. I was surprised to see that the boots are not sheep shear all the way through, as I've seen with most traditional Uggs models. The fur-lining is all throughout the top region, but the foot part is leather-lined. Although they come with a set of fur-lined insoles, I would not recommend wearing these boots in bare feet if you plan on doing any walking; the leather will give you some mean blisters and start to wear holes in the leather. The outers are weatherproof, but will begin to scuff and wear pretty early. Invest in leather protector if you want to keep them in mint shape.

I am a personal trainer; I put a lot of miles on my dogs. So when I'm not working, when the wife wants to go see a movie, my Black Macho Man (MB2M Uggs) is the shoe. This Ugg is all of that. I wear them around the house because of the hardwood floors, Wednesday morning when I have to walk through winter wet grass to bring my trash cans to the front to be picked up. I put on MB2M Uggs to do the job, then I don't want to take B2M Uggs off. What a cool shoe. Ecco KWB RXP6000 for work, MB2M Uggs for play.

I was concerned about what the look would be because I wanted something that had more style than what I was accustomed to seeing in Ugg boots (mostly the ones I see my wife and daughter wearing). These boots are very sleek and stylish. They look great with most everything I wear. The material is very easy to care for as well. I just wipe them off with a damp cloth and they look great. They go on easy and are extremely comfortable and lightweight. These are the first pair of boots I have ever had that people have actually made it a point to compliment them.

I just received this boot! I tried them on and they are very comfortable. The sizing for me fits true to size and I wear an 8.5. I like the look and feel. I'm excited to start wearing them during the cold season!

Zappos' shipping is incredibly fast!!! Thank you for providing such fantastic service!! The Rockville are very stylish. However, one drawback is that there is an opening between the two buckles on the side that would let wind/snow gets in. But when I tuck my jeans in, I didn't feel the draft, so it was okay. Honestly I think the boots are for looks more than they are for comfort. The leather is really, really nice though! Overall, the Rockville deserves a 4 1/2 stars!!

So Far, so good -
The fit is true to size. These boots required no break-in - comfort from day one. Don't know about durability, as I've only had them a month. So far, they appear to be great boots!

Rockville Uggs -
I bought the Rockville Uggs in a size 9.5 for my boyfriend. He is a 9.5 in everything, but he needed a 10 in these. I think it’s because of the leather. He loves them though and says they are great. Just maybe go a half size up.

Best boot I've ever owned -
They haven’t left my feet since I put them on. These are very warm and comfy--the cut is just nice and the boot is not very heavy so I can wear it all day. It has great grip and very stable in the Chicago mud and ice. The styling is "engineer" but it has a seam on top and lug soles that makes it look quite rugged.

Very nice looking boots, works well with all my jeans, not as thick soled as most boots though. I would not recommend these boots if you are looking for something for extreme cold weather. My wife had told me that her Uggs (classic talls) were extremely warm and I should try a pair. We have a very different idea about what is and is not a warm boot. Other than that, they are extremely comfortable and I plan to purchase the black ones in addition to the dunes.

I almost don't want to review these boots...BUT, I will. They are truly awesome, truly. The comfort level is off the chart, they look cool all the time, and they are more comfortable than slippers...See, I didn't want to review them, I wanted to save them all for myself!!! Unlike other UGGS, these do run true to size.

My husband loves these boots!
He has them in the distressed brown. He swears they're the most comfortable boots he's ever worn, and that's saying something, because he's ALWAYS wearing boots. He wore them on New Year’s Eve '08, the coldest day we've had here so far, and he says his feet stayed warm and dry. The only thing he mentioned is that if the top buckle gets loose the flap becomes uncomfortable. It’s only happened once, and he's now more careful to make sure the buckles stay secure. Great boot, just expensive as all get-out, but definitely worth it.

Fits a half size big. Looks great. Super comfortable. From Wisconsin looking for stylish winter boot and got it. Criticism is that the cut on the inside is way too low (almost to sole). The buckles do NOTHING - tightening them causes the cut to buckle over and open up, exposing the foot to wet winter elements. Comes with one pair of inserts that are incredibly comfortable.

Amazing and comfortable.
Aside from the strip that bisects the front of the Rockville, the shoe is amazing and is very comfortable to wear. What struck me the most was that I could put this shoe on and wear it all day immediately with no "break in" time required. I have yet to try out the sheep skin sole as the leather bottoms have more than sufficed. Grip in cold weather conditions has been sufficient so far, but I've yet to try the shoes on ice.

Best boots by a mile!
These boots are wonderful. I have the brown ones. They are very warm and incredibly lightweight for boots. They fit true-to-size. While these boots are very expensive, they are well worth the price if you are looking for warm, waterproof winter boots. They also look very cool. Highly recommended.

Awesome boots -
These are not just for guys, I love them, too. They have some edge to their style, provide good arch support (I need that), are warm (fleece lines with optional fleece insoles), and excellent traction on the soles. On top of that, they are shorter than most boots and aren't clunky looking at all. I'm thinking about getting another pair in brown.

Well made boot - lining around ankle and calf very comfortable - a little hard to put on if you have high arches - took 2 days of wearing to "break in".

Almost great… Still solid -
Great looking boot, it doesn't get more stylish than this for a good winter boot. Gripes: looser socks tend to slide almost all the way off because of how wide they are around the calf area. I've never owned a boot where that happens. However, a tighter pair of socks seems to solve this issue. They aren't exactly waterproof either as I've already had 2 pairs of socks get wet in the toe area this winter. Other than that, they've done a pretty good job of keeping me dry. There isn’t a ton of arch support either (I have high arches), but a little more than UGGS used to have. Other than that, I'm still happy as the great look and other positive qualities have made them worth it. I just hope UGGS can address the few issues I found with these for the next incarnation because these things just look way too cool and get a lot of compliments.

WOW, these Uggs have it all!!!
Uggs are known for their incredible slipper like feel and have great craftsmanship. When I saw these I said, "Finally something a little more edgy and rugged. Well, the sole of this boot is ready for anything from wearing to the office to hiking in the high Sierras.” They have the same incredible comfort that you expect from Ugg. Great quality leather and fleece lining. They come with a lighter summer insole which make this Ugg a winner all year round.

Best boots ever -
If you're debating purchasing these boots well, dig deep and spend the extra money. A bit pricey but they are the softest leather and most comfortable boots I have ever had. The styling is also incredible. Feel very well made and the soles seem very durable, no top wears out easily.

Great looking boot, but slides -
These boots are really very comfortable and lightweight. They really look fantastic. However, my biggest problem is that they pull my socks almost completely off. No matter what kind of sock I'm wearing, they pull them off. I think the boot is true to size unlike some of the other Uggs, but they still slide a bit and pull my socks down to where they gather at the toe. Any help on a type of sock to wear that won't slide would be greatly appreciated because I really love these comfortable boots. Thanks.

I have them on now! I had no idea how comfy they'd be. They felt good out of the box. I bought them as snow boots but enjoy wearing them for style and comfort. I like the buckles for edgy style.
