This bag is awesome. The exterior color reminds me of a rich and warm golden autumn afternoon. The interior is recycled, and is beautiful creamy tan natural canvas. The metal details are matte silver, which is a neat and interesting difference from most bags. It's roomy. I carry two books, a notebook, and a bag of markers in the big pouch and all my purse-y stuff in the little pouch (wallet, business card holder, chapstick, pens, coin purse, iPhone). The two little pockets on the exterior have smartly hidden zippers that don't interrupt the flow of fabric, which I greatly like. The strap is a little too scratchy on the edges. It's fine after a few weeks, but at first it was unpleasant; took some getting used to. Now, I don't even notice it. It's got a good range of length on it, too. I could tuck it up under my arm or wear it below my hips. All in all, this is the best bag ever. I bought it for my trip to Ireland, but love it so much I converted to it for daily use. I get lots of compliments, and people are always thrilled to know it's made of recycled materials. Perfect!

I really thought I would be returning this bag due to its small size. I tried the bag and have not used any other bag since. Love the bag for its comfort and look.

I just got my Keen Brooklyn bag! It looks wonderful. The 2-in shoulder strap is just the right size. I was a little leery of the color from reading the description. Once I looked at it in person, it's very earth-tone, khaki-ish looking, which I'm very happy with! It's a medium size messenger bag for me and in translation = less stress on the neck and shoulder! The magnetic flap is a huge plus! Thank you Zappos for the great product and service!

This bag is the perfect size for every day. I love that the flap shuts with magnets, rather than velcro (which wears out). I also like that its made using recycled materials. I love this bag.

The material in this particular color (is not wipeable). I purchased this olive color as well as the black and the material in the olive is more of a canvas, the material in the black is a wipeable nylon. With the exception of that, it is a wonderful bag...holds a lot for as little as it is. Still trying to decide which color to keep as I was using it more as a tote to carry things for my two toddlers.

I love this bag -
I haven't used another bag since I received this one. I was happy it was so lightweight too. I just took a cross country trip and I was able to carry books, newspaper, maps, snacks, journal, tickets, and everything else I needed in an organized way. I could easily put my hands on what I needed, when I needed.

Just what I was looking for - Since I am a tall woman, I am always on the hunt for a bag with a strap long enough to wear diagonally across my body. This works wonderfully. I am very pleased.

Nice looking purse! This is very well made; the fact that it is made of recycled 'Keen-parts' is what made me look at their line, in the first place, and the ultimate reason I purchased one. It is stylish, yet rugged, a nice size with good capacity. Sometimes I let it double as a camera bag. The strap is rugged and wide and I often sling it across my body balancing the weight, rather than just off one shoulder, which can be a bit heavy. I whole-heartedly recommend this bag!

This bag is very utilitarian. It's kind of ugly but it works. This bag is perfect for traveling. Careful to make sure the pockets are zipped. Belongings fall out easily if they're not.

Great travel bag! I love this bag! Yes, it's a little heavy, but durable, and holds more than you may think. I will use this for air travel, there are many compartments for cell phone, ID, water bottle, etc. I have the beech/sweet pea/black and the colors are complementary to my wardrobe!

I am extremely happy with this bag. It is just the right size to take on vacation when you don't want to use your good leather one. It has a nice style and light weight. And the quality is very good. I am a big fan of Keen shoes and own a lot so I gave this a try and am very happy.

The purse to take to ITALY and anywhere else you want to go.
I loved this purse for my trip to Italy. It is lightweight, easy to get in and out of for the user. Easy access to pockets for things you need frequently. The magnet closure is a work of genius. Extremely comfortable strap - does not slide all around. Will not travel without a KEEN bag or SHOES - EVER.

I am very impressed with this bag. It is hard to find that rugged outdoor purse/bag and you can look no more. This is it! Perfect size, strap is long enough to go across body, light, and well made. The only thing I have to say bad about this purse is it doesn’t have a main compartment zipper, but it has a zipper pocket inside. Cell phone has a space under flap, so its easy access. I think this bag ROCKS, so do their shoes.

I ordered this great bag less than 24 hours ago and I'm stuffing it with all my things, holds a lot. You can't go wrong with anything that has the Keen logo on it. I like that the hardware is from recycled aluminum and the lining of the bag is recycled polyester. Thank you Zappos!!
