I had high hopes for these boots, but I was disappointed. For one, the shaft was much larger than the listed 17.5". My calf is exactly 17.5", and these were big around my calves, at least an extra 2-3". The boots also looked cheap. They are not real leather and the edges looked unfinished. I returned them; they just weren't what I wanted and for the price there is better out there.

The boots were delivered immediately, within two days. The service was excellent. They look great. The only thing is, for the price I expected a better quality. They're not leather and one of the boots inside bottom lining was not glued flat causing a bump in the arch of the foot. I had to reset it for comfort purposes.

I love this boot! I has always been hard to find a boot that fit my wider calf but this is perfect. The strap at the top of the shaft actually is velcro so you can adjust it tighter if need be, but there is also room if you want to tuck in jeans. Very comfortable to walk in. I wore them to the office and got lots of compliments.

Okay, unfortunately, the previous review were correct. Wonderful boot, fits like a glove; does smell like shoe polish, but that's not a big deal; however, the squeaking is undeniable. If you do not constantly walk around in a loud area, the noise will embarrass you. Unfortunately, I'm returning. I wouldn't advise doing what the other reviewer said about using Vaseline, that breaks down leather. It's just really too loud. Bummer! Ordering something else!

These are great looking boots and fit well. However, they smell like very strong shoe polish. I tried airing them out and they made the entire room smell. Too bad because they are great looking boots.

At first I was happy with the boots because they fit my 18" calves. They made a lot of noise, but that was okay with me. However, they were really uncomfortable after only a short wearing. I was still planning on keeping them, but unfortunately after wearing them once, they ripped all along the ankle. I sent them back; so disappointing!

Nice boots. I ordered these boots in a 8 1/2 wide and I like them. RSVP Annie Boot; runs a little small so the wide width works for me. The one problem: these boots are squeaky, and noisy. Really cute. Not leather.

I received the boots within the week of ordering. I immediately tried them on. They fit like a glove. This brand/model is made for women who have difficulty finding a boot with wide width to fit the calf. I am so happy I finally found a pair of boots that actually fit. Always measure your widest part of your calf. It runs true to that width size. I highly recommend this boot! The height of the heel is perfect to walk in. And they look fabulous, too!

First off, they actually fit my 19" calves. That was amazing. But then the smell of shoe polish was so strong that my eyes were burning while wearing them and standing! Plus, these squeak with every movement. Very annoying. I have to send them back due to the smell and noise. Otherwise, they're quite comfortable.

I bought these and was impressed until I actually wore them. About 2 hours into wearing them I looked down and realized they were ripped just above the ankle, not even on a seamed section. Beyond pissed, and I didn't do any unusual activities. Walked from the house to the car parking lot to my desk. So unhappy!

Wonderfully stylish and classic. I love this boot! Not only do they look beautiful on and exhibit sex appeal, but are extremely comfortable. Usually when I come home from work at night, I have to take off my shoes or boots in order to get comfortable, but with the rsvp Annie boots, I feel like leaving them on they are so comfortable! I have a real problem finding a wide calf boot to fit over my muscular calves, but these boots are perfect and reflect the look I want at a reasonable price. I wish I could find more of the 17.5 calf width in other styles for knee and thigh high boots with a 2.5 inch heel.

I have been looking for wide enough boots to fit my calves for 2 years and I finally found them! These boots are so comfortable that I wear them all day at work and even walk home in them. They have a great velcro adjustable strap in the back where you can make the width even wider or a bit more narrow (which is what I did) without the boot puckering. I have already told all of my wide calf friends about this boot and 2 of them have bought them. These boots look great with jeans tucked in them or with black tights and a mini dress. I can't count the amount of compliments I have received when I wear them.

I ordered the boots after years of trying to find a fashionable dress boot. I received the boots in three days! When I opened the box I was very very pleased with the boots! I walked around in them for about an hour! The fit was wonderful considering I have a plus size calf; everything fit great! I will definitely purchase more boots from Zappos! The Annie RSVP is my favorite!

The best boots ever made for wide calves!
These boots are simply amazing! I have NEVER owned a pair of zip-up knee high boots due to my large (19-20+ inch) calves. I admit they were a little tight right out of the box but they stretched a little and I never want to take them off. They are comfortable, the heel is perfect, and I just love them. I ordered a 9.5 WW and they are perfect!

Absolutely Thrilled!
I am completely satisfied by this boot! I have huge calves (19-20") partially from being muscular, partially just from being overweight, and I've been searching for boots that would fit around them for a very long time. Nothing I ordered from Silhouettes would fit, and I'm so excited to finally find a boot that both looks extremely classy and fits. The comfort could be better, but I don't think it's a design flaw of the boot at all, more just that it's a heel and I'm not a well balanced person. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it's padded inside (mucho comfort at the bottom!), but halfway up the shaft the padding stops and it's just the faux leather. It sticks to my legs when I don't wear tall socks. Also, I got a 9.5 WW b/c it was the only size left and it fits, but if I could do it all again, I'd only get a 9 W. They are true to width and size and you don't need to order up.

Love these boots!! They are truly named well. I never thought I would find a boot that is actually a bit wider than my calf but, it's all good. Since I will never wear anything shorter than the top of the boot, no one will ever see that I do have a bit of room. I actually like the feeling of them not being tight, a first for me. Love them.

Great boot - 1 small fixable problem -
I LOVE the fact that I found a great looking wide calf boot with a heel! OMG-I have searched high and low. The boot is good looking and a great fit. The 1 small problem (which I fixed) is the boot has a strap around the ankle and it made the boots squeaked when I walked. It was the leather strap rubbing against the leather boot. I took a little petroleum jelly, rubbed a tiny amount between the strap and boot and no more noise.

I love these boots. They are very comfortable and they are a perfect fit for my calves. It is very hard to find boots that are a perfect fit. I would recommend these boots especially for the plus size ladies who are having problems finding boots that can fit the calf.

I read the reviews that said the shoe runs small and narrow and I wanted to wear these boots with socks. I usually wear a size 10 narrow, so I ordered 11 Medium. I ordered them and THEY FIT! They are so nice looking. I have bulky snow boots that I can't wear to a business meeting. I can't wait to wear these to a client! Thank you again, Zappos.

I have wide calves, but these boots are truly ridiculous. For me to be able to put bootleg cords in and still have an extra 3 inches of space is ludicrous. They're really nice and seem like they would be comfortable, but I need them in "wide calf" not "extra wide"!
