I love my new sneakers. Having wide and flat feet makes finding comfortable shoes difficult. New Balance offers wide and this particular pair fits very well. Also, Zappos upgraded my shipping to a faster speed at no cost to me; this was great as I started running and really needed new sneakers quickly. Thanks Zappos!

I really love these New Balance 609 shoes. I wanted a comfortable and good looking shoe to wear out with jeans and this shoe fits the bill! I really like the pink and purple\'ish details that make the shoe look more feminine. Good job New Balance. \r\n\r\nI would also like to say thank you to Zappos. What an amazing on-line store. Free shipping and fantastic service. I ordered a pair of boots at 8pm (PST) and they arrived at noon the next day! Unbelievable. I recommend Zappos to all my friends.\r\n\r\nI wish more on-line stores would adopt some of Zappos good service.

The upper is rather stiff so doesn’t shape around the forefoot well, but very breathable. My foot is actually an E wide and the D is plenty roomy. All in all good for workout shoes and I would buy another pair.

Cute shoe, loved the colors & the style! However, this shoe had no cushioning & zero arch support. Very disappointing for New Balance. I returned this shoe & will try a different style.

These NB are a little lower cut than other models of NB I\'ve worn, but it didn\'t really affect the fit. They were wide in the toe box without being too wide and slipping in the heel. The best thing about them is how lightweight they are!

The shoes are comfortable, very nice looking, although a little too bulky, look sort of "big" on the foot. All my shoes without exception are size 10, but for these 10.5 fits me; 10 is too tight.

I love these shoes! I had been searching for a replacement for my NB809 trail shoes (which have been discontinued) and these are perfect! I'm not a runner, but they are great for hiking...great traction and lots of cushion and support.

I ordered these 1/2 size bigger & they fit perfect right out of the box. My walking trail is an abandoned railroad bed, so there are lots of large rocks & these shoes give me great stability. Very, very comfortable shoes.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Can't go wrong with New Balance shoes, especially if you need a wide width.

A little bulky for walking, but great looking shoe!
I ordered these because they came in wide and I loved the color and look of them! They are a bit too bulky for walking, but a very comfy shoe! I still love the look and comfort of them and would buy the same style in a different color if available, just not for working out/walking. Hiking, maybe.

Great shoe!
I have been buying New Balance for years now; they're comfortable and last for a long time. These shoes, in particular, are comfy and support my feet at the gym. I'm also partial to sneakers that aren't white, because I seem to get them dirty pretty quickly.

Love the look, comfort is MISERABLE!
I am going to have to purchase inserts because these shoes have NO comfort to them. If I could find some with more comfort, I would probably have already purchased them. I love the look of these shoes though, they go with EVERYTHING and I think they will stay clean a lot longer than some of the others have.

Awesome all-terrain shoe for hiking, walking dogs, etc -
I bought these shoes just prior to X'mas in size 10 D since I have kinda a wide foot and I am a true size 10, but usually order or just buy off of the shelves (if I can find them) a 10.5 shoe to accommodate my wide toe area.
So, anyway…I get them in the mail the next day and try them on and they fit like a dream!
They have been super comfy! They are light-weight because of the light grey mesh without looking too much like a running shoe.
I wear them out to casual lunches and dinners, too! Also to the grocery store, walking my 2 dogs, etc.

New Balance 609 -
I especially like the inside sole of this 609 shoe. It has a lift right under the toes that address a problem with my foot. It is lower cut around the ankle, that I wasn't used to, as it was different from my old shoes which had a higher cut around the ankle. It is a comfortable and supportive shoe.

I was surprised at how customer friendly the instructions were and how quickly I was able to get my return label. Immediately after that I put another order except one size lower. Apparently I checked today and my item was put on priority with no extra cost. That is awesome customer service. Thanks Zappos team and continue providing this outstanding service!
