This is my third pair of Asics that I have bought. Before using Asics I used to switch brands every time I needed to buy new tennis shoes. I have tried all type of brands (Nike, New Balance, Under Armo, Adidas, etc.) and found out that once you go Asics you will ever go back. I bought this pair for several reasons. It is soft and very light weighted, perfect for running. It holds your feet not to strong but no to soft, essential for those who like practicing heavy weights. Also, its design is pretty attractive, facilitating visibility at night. These are the reasons why I bought these tennis shoes; therefore after using them for some time, I have found that Asics is your perfect shoe for price/quality.

These shoes are wonderful. They arrived extremely quickly and were the correct size and color. They fit a little snug but I really like the support they offer for running. I ran a 5K after having the shoes for about a week and I did not get any sores or blisters. The padding is wonderful!

Comfortable. Great support and stability. My feet are regular/wide throughout the middle of the foot and then my toes are slightly longer than norm and Asics seems to nicely envelope the foot. I think I've found my running shoe. Zappos and their customer service is OUTSTANDING. Beginning with their year round free shipping and returns. Contacted a customer representative for an inquiry, it literately made my day. Excellent service.

Very comfortable, lightweight shoe. I ordered a second pair from Zappos in a different color than I already have. They delivered in 2 days. Very happy.

Big downgrade from prior models in same line - I have earlier shoes in this same line (the 1100 and the 1130) and was very happy with them. However, I was very disappointed that the 1140 shoe had an entirely different feel on the road and was not nearly as comfortable. I feel like the 1140 pushes all of the force of your foot strike against the outer edge of your foot, resulting in soreness on long runs. Also, the heel rubber wears down much more quickly, making the shoe inappropriate for long-distance training. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone other than someone who is a very casual runner, with distances of only 3-4 miles. If you train for half or full marathons, forget it; you'll be in pain.

These are the most comfortable shoe that I have ever put on my feet. It is as though I am walking on a cloud. Not only that but they were at my house less than 20 hours after I ordered them, AMAZING! Thanks Zappos.com you’re the best!!

This shoe kills my feet. I would rather run bare foot. The balls of my feet scream with pain. I have had other Asics that I love...
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Try another Asics. I have had Asics that I love.

At last! A great shoe at a great price!
These are the first shoes I've bought online, so I was a bit skeptical, you know, order, wait, wrong fit, return, refund. But amazingly, these hard to find shoes (15 2EE) were not only available here, but in the past, if by some miracle some store would have the size, I could have any color I wanted...as long as it was white! Anyway, this shoe fit perfect right out of the box. The photo doesn't do justice to the vibrant blue trim.

Good, but slightly blister-inducing.
I got this shoe a few weeks ago. At first I had the speed bump sensation that some people noted, but it passed. However my flat feet rub on the sides some, so I've had to go through some blisters as I develop thicker skin. No shin splits or Achilles’ tendon issues though, so that's a plus.

I bought this shoe on the advice of my podiatrist after breaking and spraining my ankle. I love how they cushion yet stabilize my feet. They also accommodate my orthotics. Great shoe!

This is my first pair of ASICS. They are fairly comfortable, though I needed to break them in. I would buy ASICS again.

Excellent shoe. I have high arches and a wide foot. This shoe accommodates my orthotics. There is plenty of support for long runs. My 20 mile run was completed with no foot or knee pain.
