My Lassen buck boots -
First of all, thanks for the zoom and alternating view pictures of your products. It definitely makes a difference when shopping on line. I really like the Lassen boots. Actually they are a very good hybrid of a shoe and short boot. They don't look "booty" so they go well with casual pants, and because of the fact that they don't have a bootstrap, they allow your pant hem to drop over the boot top without getting hung up. They look "outdoorsy" enough to look really good with cargo pants and jeans. The buck leather is quite soft, like good glove leather, and they feel good on. I have a wide foot and the width could be a bit wider for my maximum comfort, but they still feel good. A good walking shoe/boot, good traction and good shock absorption. The size fit for length is just right. Overall I give them four stars simply because I would like a bit more width, but I am still satisfied with my purchase and I wear them quite often. The designer of these boots had me in mind.

 |  | I want you to know how pleased I am that my dad received his shoes so quickly! He got them today. I am amazed! He is a patient at the VA hospital in Denver. He is a WWll combat veteran who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. Recently, he was taken to the VA hospital because no one at his present home could care for him. He was sick, malnourished, and to add insult to injury, could not use his prosthetic leg because it caused a sore on his amputated stump. To shorten a long story, he had no shoes with him with which to begin learning to use his new prosthesis. I ordered them Saturday as soon as I hung up talking with him and he received them today. Now he can begin the long journey to regain his stride and health. He will be returning to the east coast of Virginia to be with family.
