Stylish & Comfortable -
I purchased these shoes only days prior to a week-long trip to Rome. I wanted a stylish, slip-on that would be an easy shoe to remove at the airport, a contemporary style and a good walking shoe. Two days before I was to leave, the shoes arrived and I tried them on. Initially, I thought they were stiff and the added cushion in the sole concerned me as I could feel it protruding from the sole. I immediately feared these were not going to work and I was going to have to return them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and wore them the two days before I was scheduled to leave. Long story short, the shoes broke-in quickly and I felt they could handle the trip to Rome. On the flight to New York, a woman seated across from me complimented my stylish shoes and asked for the brand name. I wore them not only walking all over Rome, but also Florence and Ostia Antica. These are easily some of the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned. Arch support is minimal, so I'd be wary if I had a high arch. Give them a try, but a few days to break in. Great shoe!
